"When we arrived there were no rooms available, even though we had a prepaid guarenteed reservation through Orbitz, and we were turned away. When we requested a refund via Orbitz it was denied. We were out aproximately $100 for the room and $25 for a taxi to another hotel. The only positive was that the Hotel clerk did help us find another hotel. I chated with and Orbitz agen for about 15 - 20 minutes who was virtually no help at all. "

"We stayed for 10 nights my wife and 3 daughters 7, 9, and 18 years old. Our younger two ended up loving the living room pull out twin beds, they were way more comfortable than i would have imagined. The interior was well maintained, and well decorated. the kitchen had everything you could imagine, the seasoning tray was well stocked. The pool was the winning ticket, was so nice to be able to sit on the couch and watch the girls swim. the kayaks were exactly what we like, one 2 person and solo. the life jackets selection was great, i believe there were 6 and all different sizes. The exterior had a little paint fad but on the day we were leaving the maintenance team was coming into paint, wasn't a deal breaker to use but some fad in paint on the deck and exterior walls was really the only discrepancies with the property. For those looking to stay here in December/January i would caution the bugs were a little worst than we expected and experienced this time of year on other island in the gulf/Caribbean. I don't blame the bugs on this property thus why i feel a 5 star is still an accurate score, that being said the bugs did affect our stay specifically at sun-down the little blacks bugs were annoying and biting pretty good. Silver lining, they were not bad on the dock so we spent sunset on the dock every night before going in for the night. For our family of 5 this was perfect, 3 very nice bathrooms, onsite laundry and full kitchen couldn't have asked for a better local contact "

"Beautiful home. Had every amenity you could think of. If cooking/baking is your thing, this is a great kitchen to do it in. Loved the flow in the house. The continuity in the furniture. Tranquility is the word that comes to mind. Even the rain was mesmerizing when viewed from the living room. The house manager Desiree was a font of information referring places to visit and restaurants to eat. Someone even made us a woven basket and left fruit at the front door. Charming country, the people were warm and welcoming. The house & views just incredible. Would definitely revisit!"

"The house was lovely the pool was great. The only downfall f the property would be the distance to travel to a beach. The property is about half way between the west end and east end of the island. A vehicle is a necessity however the peaceful serenity at the property is a bonus for me. Some of the family needed to travel to the west end daily but I just like to decompress and this property was perfect for that. Dave the host always made sure we were taken care of as well. "
