Large, custom, Asian-inspired, contemporary home located in Capistrano Beach. This home sits directly on the sand along a private beach in the security-patrolled, gated community of Capistrano Bay. The location and views are phenomenal. This large home is perfect for families to stretch out, or for that much needed romantic getaway for two. With the soaring ceilings, open living areas and phenomenal views, this home is the perfect vacation home for 2 or 14. Each of the 5 bedrooms has its own private bathroom with an additional half-bath on the living level and a half-bath outside for the beach goers hot tub users. Capistrano Beach is located 1/2 way between San Diego and Los Angeles just off the 5 Freeway. We are within 60 to 80 minutes drive to most 'want to see' sights in Orange County, San Diego, and Los Angeles. If driving isn't what you want to do on your vacation, within a 1-mile walk (.6 - .8 miles) there are 4 restaurants (Mexican, Italian, Sushi, and an ocean-view sports bar with delicious food and outdoor seating). Of course you will be on the beach with all the ocean activities that come with that, but there is also the Dana Point harbor nearby where you can charter a fishing boat, rent jet skis, etc. This home is a true luxury property and very RARE among beach rentals. Our home gives you the privacy and comforts of a 5 star resort but the convenience of your own home. Come and experience a beach rental property like no other--we cater to the discriminating guest! NOTE: Due to limitation of VRBO's system, your VRBO-generated quote will not be accurate for stays less than 7 nights. We loved everything about it - the house, the location, the amenities. It is absolutely gorgeous. There was plenty of space for 7 of us to enjoy each others company and spread out when we chose. So many places to enjoy the beauty and sound of the ocean. This house has the best kitchen we have ever had in a rental home. The kitchen, bathroom and laundry room were also the best stocked. The owner was delightful and incredibly responsive if we had questions about operating something. We walked on the beach and swam at least twice a day. The waves were amazing for both swimming and boogie boarding. There's a ton of things to do in the area too. A week was not long enough! Best family vacation ever. There was so much that was amazing about our stay. The ocean views were spectacular–it was really nice watching the sunset over the water from the oversized hot tub overlooking the beach. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, and the master suite was especially impressive, with a bathroom that included a sauna, steam shower, and a jacuzzi bathtub. The kitchen was granite and high end appliances, with a full complement of cooking gear and spices, and along with the large gas grill on the patio, it was super easy to make awesome dinners for our crowd.The house has a closet full of games and there was a great assortment of boogie boards and beach toys. Everything was well appointed with plenty of towels, small appliances, a large stove and fridge. The master bedroom is amazing and relaxing with the sauna, steam room, fireplace and beautiful views. The host, Dylan was great. He responded promptly to any issues that came up. We would definitely stay here again. ##### Sherri T. We had 3 generations at the house. The kitchen was generously appointed with everything you’d need! The house is large and welcoming! We loved being on the beach and watching the waves and sunset. We visit my family in Orange County every year and of all the properties we’ve rented in the past, this has been our favorite. Between the views, the space, the amenities, and the location being RIGHT on the water, it has everything. It was so relaxing and so much quieter and private compared to most houses we’ve rented in the area. We’re so excited to be planning our next visit back! ##### Virginia E. Everything is as or even better than advertised. Perfect place to vacation with a large family, or do what we did and make it a couple’s getaway. The house is stocked with everything you could need, the host is responsive, and the views are unmatched. If you need complete privacy from neighbors, you might not like that you can see and hear the neighbors in their yards, but it didn’t bother us at all. Dylan was extremely attentive and very easy to communicate with. He went above and beyond to make sure we had exactly what we needed for our Family weekend. The chef kitchen was perfect for our formal chef dinner night. The kitchen and den are wide open with beautiful ocean views and provided the most amazing ambiance to gather for our virtual wine tasting evening. Every bedroom was super comfortable and spacious. The outside patio was perfect to enjoy sunsets and the beach. Overall a 5 star experience for our girls family weekend and we will to definitely be back to enjoy again! We needed a large home for a post-Xmas family get-together. This glorious beachside home blew us all away with its large windows, views and amenities. Gourmet kitchen. Hot tub with ocean view. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The kitchen had all the essentials and we enjoyed cooking there when we weren't enjoying one of the many great local restaurants.
