The walk is about 1 mile and takes 20 minutes. The complex is adjacent to the Waldorf Astoria Dana Point, one of three five-star hotels and resorts in California. Two others, the Ritz Carlton and the Montage, are nearby. The community of Dana Point is upscale, and is located convenient to San Diego, Sea World, Disneyland, Los Angeles, and the best dining, shopping, beaches, golf, and tennis in Southern California. This is a gated community and includes your own covered parking space. This is a ground floor unit with 3 small steps to descend when entering the convenient 1,200 square-foot single-story condo. This relaxing and tastefully decorated condominium is perfect for two couples or a family looking for a beach retreat. The unit has two 39-inch HDTVs with HD DVD players in both the living room and master bedroom, and a 32 inch HDTV with HD DVD player in the guest bedroom. All TVS have streaming Smart TV options. WiFi is included. Enjoy meals in the separate dining room or , in the breakfast nook, or outside on the patio table. The condo is very spacious for a family of 5-6 and located in a gated community. The location is prime and located next to 5 star resorts including the Waldorf and Ritz Carlton. We were able to explore the nearby beaches in Laguna, Newport, and even made a day trip to Universal. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. To our delight it was a great call. The area and Salt creek beach was beautiful! And the beaches like trestles in San Clemente was just minutes away. Jason’s condo was a 3 - 5 minute drive to Salt Creek. It was very clean and updated. When we first walked in we said really cute!! Kitchen had everything, washer and dryer so pack light. Location is A+. Accommodations A. Would I stay there again? I prefer an upstairs unit or top floor. The people above us were also a short-term rental, were noisy and we could easily hear them walking above us. The other thing I suggest to the owner is to get better beds. The beds are just okay. I recommend buying two new beds from Costco down the street. On the pillow front, I recommend two different pillows, a fluffy one and a flatter one; this way the guest have a preference. Jul 6, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Perfect location for Dana Point - OC getaway The location and proximity to the beach was perfect and the amenities of the pool and a gated community were fantastic. We enjoyed a daily walk down to the Waldorf for coffee and were able to enjoy all of the local beaches very easily. We check in and check out process could not have been easier and the amenities for the beach were fantastic. It was a perfect amount of room for our family of six! ##### Art M.
