Went with two relations for city break. We were all very pleased with the location, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. there was no restaurant or bar due to the ongoing refurbishment which was a shame, but there is a hotel next door which serves meals/drinks which can be charged to your room. There are also lots of cafes, restaurants and bars very close so this was not a no problem.
We all felt we had made a good choice and would definitely stay there again, and can highly recommend the hotel.
Reception staff excellent. Booked tickets for Van Gogh gallery when another agency said there were none available. Room not so good. Cigarette burns on net curtains and bed badly made each day. Light switches in ridiculous position in middle of headboard so every time you moved the lights went on and off unless you were at the edge of the bed. Newly-fitted bathroom great with excellent shower.
Hotel reception staff were great and very accommodating, the overall trip was very pleasant and the hotel itself is very nice. The only downside was that some money was taken from our room so just something to be aware of.
I stayed with my significant other for 2 nights. The room was quite small but very modern and clean. My favorite part about this hotel is that it was in such a great location. We were able to walk every where and our street was packed with the best cafe's, coffee shops, and restaurants.
Hotel is in a great location, very close to Centraal Station and all the main tourist attractions are a short walk or tram journey away. We have now stayed in this hotel twice and would certainly use it next time we visit Amsterdam. Plenty of restaurants, shops just outside the door and we checked-in and out with ease. Staff were pleasant and helpful when we were trying to print off boarding passes and had some problems.
We found the beds really large and comfortable and the room pretty quiet and very clean. We would have appreciated some drawer space though, as there are no drawers in rooms at all.
Amazing, friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Complimentary drink on arrival was a nice touch. Beautiful location and absolutely amazing room. Cannot recommend it enough. Would definitely want to stay there again!
"Hotel was modern. Friendly staff. great locaton "
Hotel was clean. Very modern. Great price. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Amazing location. Right in city centre. Close to everything. But when in room you didn't hear the noise from outside. Great stay. Going back this summer.
"Excellent location for seeing Amsterdam's sites."
We booked a short break to Amsterdam and were looking for a quality hotel that didn't break the Bank and this suited perfectly.Good restaurant although menu didn't change.Lovely large room with bath and shower, everything worked ,only slight drawback was occassional early morning street noise which was outside hotels control. All staff were very helpful and spoke english perfectly.

The bustling heart of Amsterdam, this district attracts hordes of visitors teeming from Centraal Station to Dam Square and its beautiful Nieuwe Kerk (14th-century). The oldest part of town, Oude Zijde, is famous for its Red Light District, but the University and the docks bring a different kind of colour and buzz to the narrow streets.
