Just beyond is a well-equipped kitchen, ready for preparing homely meals. The first floor holds a comfortable double bedroom. Head upstairs to find a spacious second-floor featuring a king-sized bed, with skylights that bring in soft, natural light during the day. Dalton-in-Furness is a charming market town in Cumbria, just on the outskirts of the Lake District. One of Dalton’s highlights is Dalton Castle, a historic 14th-century pele tower managed by the National Trust. Just a short distance from the town is the South Lakes Safari Zoo.
