Simply the best! Even though we were there a short time, I would return in a heartbeat. Beautiful, great service, wonderful decorations, fantastic staff, and an overall outstanding experience. We truly only ordered room service, but it was truly delicious (except for the pizza wraps… not very tasty and strange). We will come again!

This is such a beautiful hotel but the customer service really puts it over the top. We enjoyed the bar and the spa on our quick trip and both were great. The grounds are beautiful… we will be back.

The pretentious cold staff makes staying at this hotel miserable. Used to travel to Dallas just for this gem of a hotel. It is unbearable now. We do not look or act the part, thank goodness, therefore we do not get the service. Last stay here.

The property is very dated and run down. There is no food/bev service at the pool. Guests have to walk not just through the hotel lobby, but either outside or through the private dining room, to get to the bar. Pool was also very dirty and the planes flying overhead constantly made for a very disruptive experience. Rooms were okay - comfortable enough, but not what you expect when paying a nightly rate as high as they charge. The staff, however, was excellent. Extremely communicative, accommodating, and helpful. They belong at a nicer property!!!

We booked last minute for an anniversary staycation. The rooms were lovely. The shower was great, bed extremely comfortable and the bedding was some of the softest I have experienced. I loved the thick blackout curtains and extra insulated walls made it exceptionally quiet and a great nights sleep. The nespresso machine in the room was amazing, but it would have been nice to have tea as well. The hair and body care products weren’t that great. The people at the front desk, wait staff, and valet were friendly, pleasant and professional. My husband had a massage and said it was amazing - the best he’s every had. They recognized our special anniversary with a note and cookies at check-in and a note and dessert at breakfast. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on Monday but they recommended several good restaurants and we were able to make reservations at one, so we didn’t spend much time at the hotel. The decor was lovely and the historic elements of the hotel are beautiful. The bar was packed early so we didn’t stop in (likely because the restaurant was closed) but it was beautiful. The only disappointing part about the experience was the food. It was a very good breakfast but I guess I was expecting too much given the mansions reputation for culinary excellence. It seemed like something I’d get down the street at my local breakfast place. The coffee was amazing and smooth. The cake served at breakfast was dry and inedible. Perhaps it was intended to be like biscotti?
