There was a huge hole in the wall that had been temporarily patched. Paint all over the floor. The wood flooring also had gaps in it. Had a stench, musty smell. Not in condition to be rented out. Aside from the poor state of the apartment, Host was easy to contact with our concerns and allowed us to cancel. We just had to forfeit the money that goes to VRBO. This was our first time booking with VRBO. The pull out section of the couch was broken, but upon notifying the host they promptly responded with an apology and offered to refund the cost of the apartment, we decided to keep the reservation and stayed. We were traveling for a graduation at the Loews Center and it was less than a ten minute drive. Everywhere we wanted to go to was within a 20 minute drive. This place was very reasonably priced and we will definitely stay again if we are in the area. You can tell it’s was a run down apartment that someone had a cheap handyman slap some stuff together and make it passable. The photos make it look a lot nicer than it actually is. The shower has really weak water pressure and the vinyl flooring is coming apart. I seen hair in the bed and not sure if the sheets were washed. The unit doesn’t have air conditioning, it does have three noisy window units to keep the apartment cool but, made it hard to sleep with it going on and off all night.
