It has hardwood floors throughout and concrete flooring in the bathroom. Custom cabinetry throughout with book matched mahogany fronts. The Neighborhood: The Bishop Arts District is a neighborhood rich in history, and was the site of Dallas' busiest trolley stop in the 1930s. Since the area's revitalization, the Bishop Arts District has been featured in the New York Times, USA Today and The Daily Beast for its small-town feel, hidden-gem appeal, and close-knit community. Dlink Bus: Bus stop is out in front of the building on the adjacent property. Search DART to learn about pricing and schedules.
Dallas Street Car: Local stop is at Zang and Davis .4 miles from the building. Runs 7 days a week to Downtown Dallas from 5:30 am to midnight and is Free. Frequency is every 20 minutes.
Interaction with Guests: I work closely with my co-host assistant Alex to make your trip the best it can be. She and I both live in the neighborhood and are available for simple questions and more serious concerns. We love helping guests but also have kids and busy lives. Most questions can be answered by reviewing the listing information and we are available to answer everything else.

This was a great property right in the middle of Bishop Arts. Restaurants and coffee shops all in walking distance and the loft was super cute!! The property was clean and worked great for my husband and me. I would recommend to future guests.
Nice place, minor issues not worth mentioning. One major issue was the late night noise level. By late I mean until 4 in the morning. Consistent, extremely loud cars revving engines for some reason. Sounded like a street takeover for hours on end. This of course is not the property owners fault ( they even provided ear plugs on the nightstands). Just wanted to provide fair warning to anyone considering staying here. You won’t get much sleep.
Stayed with 2 colleagues. Everything was perfect! Only recommendation is add more mirrors as it was hard for 3 women to get ready in 1 bathroom with the only mirror in the house. But we managed. Highly recommend!
Pros: Gorgeous Inside, looks as listed, great location
Cons: Beds weren't very comfy, dog barking every night until late, circuit braker tripped one evening and had to deal with getting the power back on alone (text host but they must've been asleep)
All in all a nice stay.
The accommodation was great. We enjoyed staying there. We will stay again. The beds were great. The area was questionable at first but the closer we got to the loft it got better. It’s a area to me that they are revitalizing. Eatery within one block was great. We drove a different way leaving and realized a very nice neighborhood. Will stay again!
The place is clean and the host is nice. The location is pretty good. There are quite a few restaurants in the neighborhood. This is a loft kind of apartment so there is really no "wall" between rooms except the bath room. The host uses large shelf and paper screens to separate the rooms, so you may disturb by other members in your group during the night. Other than that, good place to stay for short period of time.
The location could not be better! Easy walk to all the shops and restaurants in Bishop Arts. No doors on any of the bedrooms though, so not great for large groups with different bed times. Lots of rules/stipulations that incur extra charges if broken (no smoking outside, no dirty linens, no gatherings w/ people not staying there, etc). Looks like a lot of damage has been done to the interior of the place (patched up holes in the wall, destroyed ceiling rafters/beams), one very creaky bed that can be heard throughout the apt all night (because there are no doors) … but honestly, the location is so good that we’d stay here again. The shower/bathroom was also great too - lots of space, nice water pressure and complimentary toiletries. Overall very nice!!
No ice
No hair dryer
No kleenex
Only one back up of TP for 5 women
Lock code did not work. We waited 45 minutes in 108 degree weather

Conveniently located for our trip, but needed some attention
Our honest review: The best summary of this space was that it felt like it hadn’t been used in a long time and needed a good deep cleaning before it was rented again. We checked out the loft and my husband turned the fan on and dust flew down from it onto the bed. There was dust under the staircase and it just felt like it hasn’t been inhabited in a while. There were some basic necessities that would’ve helped our stay feel more at home. There weren’t any dish towels and dish clothes, more bath towels would’ve been nice. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang your towels nor any hooks or hangers in the bedrooms to hang up your clothes. There wasn’t a garbage can available in the bathroom and the soap pumps in the shower difficult to use, the shower curtain was moldy at the bottom, the vent at the top of the wall near the ceiling was moldy. Most of the vents in the space were dusty. The sliding door to the main bedroom on the main floor was torn and stained. There were areas that it was noticeable that the cleaning wasn’t completely done and ignored. When you are a guest coming out of town and renting a VRBO you expect it to look spotless and clean. unfortunately, the more you looked at things around the space, it looks like it needed a deep cleaning. The living room space was uncomfortable. We had to bring all the bed pillows to sit on the couch to make it comfortable and we brought in that small chair from the extra bedroom on the other side of the living room wall to

Okay place but doesn’t measure up.
First, what was good: The customer service was great, I was allowed to check in early. It has many sleeping spaces, tall ceilings, spacious bathroom, two televisions, and the kitchen was stocked.
Now, what was not good:
I booked the place for my fiancé’s birthday because it’s advertised a the penthouse. With that kind of description you expect certain things. First, while I was allowed an early check in, I sent messages with no response. Eventually, the day of check-in, someone responded. An old manager was actually receiving the messages but she was kind enough to connect me with the mew manager. Also what went wrong was, the rental was on the third floor and not handicapped accessible, the bed was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor, the room that we wanted to use had a broken bed and I was so embarrassed, the room dividers were torn, the chair that was there was so very worn, it was embarrassing to even use it in the space, the patio/balcony wasn’t set up the same no did it have the same furniture, the way the lighting was set up was inconvenient. The lamps had to be unplugged to turn them-no knobs, the towels looked worn out, only Roku TV, the decor felt cheap and half done. The space looks lived In and the bedding didn’t feel clean. This was not an ideal place.
If you are looking for a place to crash for the night with several people this is ideal. If you are looking for a penthouse feel with accommodations to match-this isn’t the place for you!!! You truly get what you pay for!
Handy garanteed parking space close to restaurants and shops in Bishop Arts. 10 mins from Downtown Dallas by car. Clean apartment with all appliances you would need.
We were so pleased with our stay at this property. It was clean and easy to access. The parking was perfect - it was well labeled, well lit, and close to the building. The property location was right in the middle of everything in the art district, easy to walk whoever we needed to go. We will definitely stay here again the next time we head to Dallas.
The property was clean and the area was wonderful a lot of coffee shops and restaurants we really enjoyed the art shops and the diversity. It was easy to to get to downtown Dallas and Fort Worth
Rented this unit for the NCA cheer competition. It was a great location near the convention center. Near some great dining. Will see if the unit is available to stay again next time in Dallas.
We enjoyed staying at this property. There were plenty of beds for all of our guests and it was easy to find. The manager was super quick to help when someone had parked in our spot while we were gone. Just a heads up if you travel with 2 or more cars be prepared to find a place to park on the street because they only provide one spot. It took us a few minutes to do that but everything worked out and was great!
