Train noise was horrible! Also someone yelled throughout the night. Very little sleep. Breakfast was minimal. Pool was out of order but price was not reduced. Not staying there again!

Always a convenient stay at the nursanickel. We stay as part of a longer trip to Colorado and this is right off the route. The check in is friendly, hotel is clean, coffee is hot. Will stay again.

Average stay high priced
Our stay at the Best Western was average. The room was clean enough, the beds were old but not so uncomfortable that we didn't sleep, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was average but the staff hustled to help everyone out and make them happy. Free bottles of water were advertised but we were never offered any and there weren't any in the room. The train was right outside the door which we didn't know about. Ear plugs were offered but kind of a bad location. The total price for the room was twice as much as we paid in Topeka and less than half as good. That is excluding the staff who worked really hard. The accommodations in Dalhart are too expensive for what is offered.

Loved how friendly staff was. If a problem was presented staff would immediately come help. Checking in was easy. Rooms were very clean. Housekeeping lady was so nice and gave recommendations of places around the area to shop or visit. She was so friendly and attentive to my needs. Overall, I would stay here again if I had to travel to dalhart again. What I didn't like was the drawer kept opening and my infant when walking kept bumping his head into it because when he would get close to the drawer it would open and he would hit himself. And maybe extend breakfast another hour for us who wake up literally at the end of breakfast time. I wasn't counting on it closing so I didn't think thing to wake up any sooner. But the food was good and a lot of varieties.

The front desk was very helpful and very nice. She gave us a full rundown on the hotel and the morning breakfast. The brwakfast was good except the sausage, which had a funny texture and n Might ha e been microwaved. Our bed was comfort but is sagged in the middle. We have been married 3r years so rolling into each other wasn't a problem. Overall great stay.

Space was fine but pricey for a mediocre room. Hotels.com hides that there’s a $20 charge for pets and proceeded to book a room that wasn’t animal friendly making for issues once we arrived. The front desk was lovely, and helped us. Not impressed with hotels.com. Bathroom was clean but shower leaked so it was wet and slimy in the bath. Sheets and bedding appeared clean but maybe old stains so slept clothed

Parking is tight, with enough spots but not much room to park. It's an older building that is due for an update. Hopefully the update includes better sealing doors, because alot of the noise from the road and trains were coming through the poorly sealed door. It's what you'd expect from a budget motel, though the price was more than the nearby budget motels.

Perfect for our one night stay!
Only stayed one night with my son and 2 dogs. Lady at front desk was very nice. Room was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Train is close by but didn't actually bother us the one time we heard it. They do offer free ear plugs just in case. Nice lawn behind rooms for dogs to potty. Overall, very pleasant stay :)

It’ll do should really be the slogan. This is no frills at all. Also, careful on what is advertised and what you get. Pool not working, very slow service at the front desk, and an offer of earplugs as the trains come through all night! No worries about the trains though, the air conditioning and thumping music next door drowned them out the who stay.

We had a great room with a walk-in shower. The included breakfast had hot entries of eggs, sausage, biscuits, etc. along with a waffle maker. The place is right on the highway and real close to the train tracks, did not bother us at all as we are both old and hard of hearing.
