The entire staff was fantastic! I would like to recognize Cisse, who works evening at the restaurant and Anne at the reception desk as doing a superb job. Mamadou also was excellent as well as Papis, a great guide, and also the lady who runs the breakfast. Housekeeping was very good too

One of the best properties and very safe. The only issues is, bring your own face towels/wash cloths. The staff provided one the first day but couldn’t understand when we requested more. Service at the restaurant is VERY slow and inconsistent. The staff however is very nice, very safe property, and very clean.

Terrible Hotel - to be avoided
I stayed one week at the Pullman Teranga. It was an horrible experience: the staff just ignore you when you have a request, they never respond to the phone, the pool was privatised, without any warning, so we could not enjoy it although we paid for it, 1 day of 2 they forget the water in the room, the door of my room was not closing properly so I felt very insecure at night. I sent 5 emails to get my flight ticket printed: never got the print. The air-conditioning is not efficient in the bedroom, the door of my bathroom was broken and the mirror was rust... so please, run away, there are other Luxury Hotels in Dakar.

I went to the Pullman Teranga and we were overall disappointed by the quality of this hotel. It is supposed to be a 5 starts but the carpet is dirty, our rooms were not cleaned every day even when we put the sign to clean, we were out of bath towels for 2 days and the staff was very disorganized overall.

Fantastic location in the middle of the Dakar and close to the port and beach. Facilities were top notch although check in was very slow. The beach club connected to the hotel was a plus

Location of the property was fine. Facilities were good. Not quite sure this is a 5 Star property. Definitely overpriced. Front desk staff were the absolute worst. I read reviews about bad front desk service and had lowered expectations even then they couldn't even meet me up with low expectations. They were quite unhelpful; language and attitude were abrasive and sometimes downright unprofessional. Staff at the restaurants were however excellent. Makes you wonder why the hotel's management will keep this set of people at the Front desk. Would I stay here again. Yes. I would.

Property is an oasis within the hustle and bustle of a port city. I had a suite and welcomed with wine and fruit. I didn’t arrive until 130am and checked in with ease. I should have booked a car service to and from the airport directly with the hotel, it would have saved me stress and money. Otherwise, the spa, pool, lounge, restaurants were an added touch for my holiday.

The service at the property was top notch! I celebrated my birthday there and they were attentive and had a personal touch. However I would say that we expected the rooms to be more up to date than they were. We did also enjoy their great amenities like the spa.

First trip to Africa for this American. The Pullman Teranga is a well run hotel with beautiful views of the ocean. Speaking some French Is helpful but not necessary. Housekeeping service was great. Lobby bartender makes a mean Negroni. Had a good business dinner in the restaurant. Enjoyed poolside drinks and food.

Forlorn 80s type hotel saved by excellent location
This seems to be an overpriced/ overevaluated 3 stars hotel (lobby - 4 stars) which survives because of its excellent location on the beach front where it also manages a decent swimming pool. Everything in the hotel feels 80s, and kind of nostalgic, but the views from rooms are priceless. The staff is quite remarkable, especially Gerti and Aminata at the reception desk.

The staff were very pleasant and professional. The reception and lobby areas were luxurious with a subtle local touch. The room was spacious, clean and looked recently furnished.

Room was small, hard to move around. Shower did not drain so had to keep it short to avoid flooding the room. 3 of seven days housekeeping took away our towels and left only one bath towel. Perhaps we were to share? Food at beach bar is better than at restaurant. However breakfast buffet is good. Hard to feel value though as it costs $30 USD per person.
