It is a requirement of our insurance. \- Lake Martin water levels are lowered from October through early March. The home itself is amazing! There is so much space. The kids were able to hang out downstairs and the adults upstairs. We are a family of 10, and there was more than enough room for 5 more people. If you want to visit Lake Martin this home has everything! Ping pong, hot tub, kayaks, and paddle boards. We plan to stay again this summer! The host was very timely with responses. ##### Justin H. From the photos I thought it looked nice but we really just wanted a place to fall asleep close to the wedding. Turns out this place is much more impressive in-person. The place just felt clean and smelled clean, the ceilings are higher than I expected which was nice. We came back from the wedding and actually played ping pong and ended the night in the hot tub. The home is immaculately beautiful! We were celebrating my daughter’s upcoming graduation so we had a couple of her friends staying with us. The home gave plenty of room for all of us. The beds were so comfy and everything about this house was just amazing. The hot tub kept the teenagers occupied as well as the ping pong table. The kitchen was so well stocked with any and everything I needed, so much that I felt like I was at home. Saturday called for severe weather all over the state of Alabama. The hosts text to let us know that the basement was their safe place. The whole basement is a living area. I stocked the basement refrigerator full of water and took all of our snacks down so that we would be prepared. Invited my parents over for dinner that night and kept them there during the storms. I loved cooking in this fully stocked kitchen with my mom. We did in fact have a tornado warning that night and the basement made us feel very safe and comfortable. The hosts communicated so well with us during the storms and during our stay. You will absolutely not be disappointed staying here. I am already looking into booking another stay. ##### Tanya N. It is brand new, fully stocked, and has great amenities. There’s plenty of room for multiple families. The hosts were great and communicated very well. From the moment I arrived at "Oak Road Oasis", I knew this was going to be an unforgettable experience. The property was even more stunning than the photos, and I felt right at home as soon as I walked through the door. The space was immaculately clean, thoughtfully decorated, and equipped with everything I could possibly need (and more!).The location was ideal – close to all the best spots yet tucked away in a peaceful area. Whether I was sipping coffee on the balcony with breathtaking views or enjoying the cozy, stylish interior, I couldn’t have asked for a better setting. Not to mention, the hot tub was huge and the firepit was perfect. But what really made this stay exceptional was Grant and his team of hosts. Their attention to detail and care for their guests went above and beyond. They had clear communication, helpful recommendations for local attractions, and made sure I had everything I needed for a stress-free, enjoyable stay.I truly can’t recommend this house enough. It felt like a home away from home, and I will definitely be back!
