Our teenagers loved it. We were even served a floating afternoon tea. The downside of these rooms is less privacy as others are swimming right past your room! It wasn't an issue during our stay though. Kitchen facilities were useful. Room was modern and spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast options for Western guests were quite limited if you don't/ can't eat eggs. But our request for a simple baguette with jam was accommodated easily. We used Grab a lot to get around which worked well.
