The staff at the counter was unsure weather we had a booking there even tho i had a confirmation email, after 10-15 minutes he found my booking. Then gave me a key to a room that didn’t look like it had been clean before we got there...made a complaint straight away demanding to be moved to a new room, staff said they were full, did not apologise for the room being dirty and unclean. Later that night heard the sounds of cochroaches crawling aound the bed again notified staff and he came up with spray to spray the room to wake up the next morning with dead cochroaches everywhere and ants all over them. Checked out the next day after returning from a tour we had booked. The rooms are cleaned daily, and empty bottles are recycled. However, the onsite laundry facilities are plastic bins to wash clothes and hang on a communal rack on the 7th floor terrace, or you can pay 20,000VND per kg to have the clothes washed for you. There are plenty of restaurants on Ho Ngninh Street, and other options are well within walking distance, like My Khe beach. Good quality hotel in a good location close to the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For me the location was good, the beach was my main aim. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and amenities in a short walking distance. If you want high street shops and some of the popular tourist attractions you will need a taxi or grab. I have only one small complaint. There were some insects living in the bathroom. They were harmless and I only ever saw one or two particularly around the toilet. Personally that didn't bother me. We asked for a transfer to be booked between the hotel and Hoi An and although it clearly stated it would be 450,000vnd on the sheet of paper, he asked for 300,000vnd. Sounds like a good deal until a gentleman turned up (who we now think is the receptionists friend) and mid journey tried to take us to a ‘Marble Shop’. “Please help me” he said, “stay here for ten minutes, I need you to help me”. We’ve heard of these scams before, but you expect a level of professionalism from hotel staff to book you legit taxi’s. I recommend this hotel.
