The room itself was a good size with decent amenities, but the overall cleanliness of the resort was extremely disappointing. The hallways were filthy with visible dirt everywhere. When we checked in, I started sneezing immediately, and it only stopped after I personally cleaned every surface in the room myself.
Housekeeping was inconsistent and poorly done. Even after they “cleaned,” I often had to go over everything again. Turndown service was hit-or-miss, and when I called to request basic items like towels or coffee, they would either forget or only show up after a very long wait. On one occasion, I had to request fresh towels because the ones originally provided had hair on them, which is completely unacceptable.
The toiletries were also terrible, the shampoo smelled like dish soap, and the body wash did nothing for the skin.
One particularly frustrating policy was that Grab (food delivery service) drivers were not allowed onto the premises. This is an unreasonable rule, especially for guests who don’t want to leave the resort but still need to eat.
On a positive note, the breakfast buffet had a good variety of options and was enjoyable. The spa was also a highlight, I had a wonderful massage, and the spa staff were friendly and professional.
However, the overall experience was overshadowed by the lack of cleanliness and poor service. It was also strange that we were only given one key at check-in despite being two guests.
