It's a very short walk to the Old Town area. Breakfast was great and made fresh for your order. This is a home stay so don't expect a pool or buffet breakfast. Trust me if you need more for breakfast your belly is too big and some would say fat. You can hire bikes or motor bikes from next door very cheap. I can honestly say that I don't believe that I would have received better service across the road from the Heritage Homestay - our stay was perfect. From the moment we arrived we were well looked after. Checked in with the minimal of fuss. The lady on reception said that there were a number of things that she could recommend if we wanted and to just ask. Laundry was duly sorted immediately next door (I believe that it is all linked) and we settled in for a comfortable stay. The hotel (it wasn't a homestay) brought us bottles of water and fruit (bananas & mangoes) and cakes every day - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious with a choice from the menu and fresh bread, butter and jam.
