Breakfast are good and dishes look super clean. Room is spacious but outdated. It much be more impressive if it looks newer. Our second stay here and still a good hotel overall with great variety for breakfast. The room is looking a little old and could do with some new upholstery. It's a lovely hotel in a good location. The Executive Suite was fantastic value and much better than The Gold Valley for same money. Some other readers griped about cleanliness, and to some extent , mildew etc on bathroom grouting is unsightly and easy to solve. Hot water not so hot , but decent enough for a long soak. Breakfast is good and on par with other 4\* / 5\* in the area. On the bad side, Hotel porters and security ignored us completely, not even offering a brolly or help with luggage to the tax on arrival or departure , and it was raining. Well below par compared to other premium hotels in the area. We were also slightly miffed at being charged the full day rack rate for an 8 hour extension to checkout due to a flight delay.
