In general this hotel is good to excellent. Surrounding gardens And lakes are beautiful but the room isn't soundproof good. I couldn't sleep well during 2 nights I stayed there. You can hear the next door neighbor talking, laughing, pull chairs. It's pretty annoying and getting headaches. I did asked the hotel staff to do something about it but almost nothing happened. Very disappointed 😞

Affordable and beautiful vuew
The rooms were comfortable and bathroom was spacious, shower could use some extra room but the tub made up for it. The view was spectacular!

Great resort and setting. Please think about replacing hard mattresses for an even more comfortable stay. The path around the lake was inaccessible in places which should be addressed and please offer sandwiches at afternoon tea for a more authentic experience. Nice stay at Edensee
Edensee is about 20-25 minutes outside of town on a lake. It is very quiet and peaceful with pine trees. There is a shuttle bus to town, but the times that it runs are not very convenient. There should be a shuttle just before or at lunch time into town. Otherwise there is one before breakfast ends and one after lunch. Breakfast was mainly Vietnamese with some Western options. Besides the breakfast buffet, the restaurant staff does not seem to know the menu well or able to answer questions about the menu and need more training in this regard. The staff overall are very friendly and try to be helpful. The level of English was quite good. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with nice bedding. The bathrooms are large with a jacuzzi tub. There were some ants on the bathroom floor throughout the stay though. The hotel offers many activities onsite like kayaking and archery. There is a nice trail around the hotel and benches to sit by the lake. It is very peaceful and beautiful.

I had a great time visiting to escape the Saigon noise. I listened to the birds (especially peacocks), saw night stars, and smelled the pine trees. Enjoyed coffee and breakfast at 6 on balcony of amply furnished restaurant overlooking the water, watching squirrels jumping tree to tree and deer graze below. That was enough.

Great luxury resort for a relaxing vacation
Overall it is a pleasant stay. Location is clean and very relaxing. However, we stayed at the ground floor and could hear a lot of noise coming from the upper room. While receptionists were very polite in direct communication, telephone answering could be better.

Beautiful resort, a few issues
Well, the property is pretty fantastic, the rooms are very spacious and luxurious the bathrooms large and elegant. The environment is very peaceful and quiet (except for other guests) with a beautiful landscaped property. Please realize that despite a few activities (tennis courts, archery, kayaking) there isn't too much to do so it is more for rest and you are pretty far away from the hectic town center (there is a free shuttle with decent schedule to there). Didn't see a pool (but we weren't looking and the temperature is, even in summer, pretty cool. That's a good thing!). The only problems were first, as I mentioned, other guests with noisy children disturbed the peace on our first day. They need to put in thicker glass in the windows. This is especially bad if you are on the first floor, also our first floor room didn't have much of a view (and we had to keep our blinds closed). Also, service was a little raw; the receptionist didn't understand when we asked for the electric cart to take us to the room (my Vietnamese gf asked in Vietnamese). Meeting the shuttle downtown was tricky because we hadn't taken it in and their directions to the stop were inaccurate despite several calls. However, after the first day, once we knew our way around things were fine. All in all it made us feel like "a little New Zealand in Vietnam" :)

Poor customer service.
Suite Room dusty during check in. Coffee cup not wash up. The room service is weak. And the breakfast service is also slow. Front desk is doing a fine job. Overall distance is far from city but hotel provide 3 times free bus shuttles per day. Recommended for 1-2 nights stay for peaceful and fresh air. Not a 5 stars quality hotel.

The resort is beautiful sitting next to the lake. There is a nice hiking trail at the lake side. However, the room is a little bit old. The staff is very friendly and the morning buffet is excellent. I've eaten around in Dalat, stayed at a couple other resorts in Tuyen Lam, and I still think the chef at Edensee excelled. Although there is a free shuttle taking guests to town, it's still a little inconvenient to be far away from town.

Excellent staff and facilities
We booked this resort as part of our Honeymoon and stayed in a Lake View Junior Suite. We prefer to stay outside of towns/cities so this suited us perfectly. The resort is 30 minutes from the airport and approx 20-25 minutes to Dalat centre. The resort offers a free shuttle bus 3 times per day which is quite convenient. There are many activities at the resort which for any days you decide not to explore the local area will keep you entertained. Some you have to pay extra for. The cinema was great and they even played a film for us one night when there was no schedule for it. All the staff are really friendly and helpful and that really helped make our stay so enjoyable. They helped with day tours to see what we were interested in and we're happy to call local taxi companies for a price to compare to their own transport package. They also offered to organise scooters if we did not want to hire from Dalat Centre, but we didn't due to bad weather on our last day. We stayed over the Christmas period and the resort made a big effort to make the hotel feel like Christmas with lots of decorations and even a fake snow machine. Thefood is good. Plenty choice at breakfast with the homemade bread being a favourite of ours. We enjoyed a couple of meals in the restaurant at lunch/dinner. We really enjoyed the Braised Fish in Hot Pot. Only one point to note was staff can be too quick to remove plates/cutlery before finished. This happened to me twice.

It’s a beautiful resort on the lake in the forest. Far from the city, suitable for people who want to mostly stay in the nature. Food verity for westerners is not the best, but the Vietnamese food is good enough. Not a problem if food isn’t a big issue. It’s definitely 5 star and build very well, they even have a fireplace which is not tippical for most places in Dalat. Very good value for money - in my opinion.

Not a 5-star place any more. This is an old, broken down hotel. It has nice grounds but is just not well maintained. In our room the tv went out and wasn’t repaired. The “spa tub” in our room didn’t work and the maintenance guys took half an hour and then didn’t fix it. The Spa on site was under repair. That wasn’t advertised when I booked. The pool is over chlorinated. The “fitness center” is old with none of the treadmills plugged in. The x-country machine felt too dangerous to use. The breakfast is a three-star typically Vietnamese style. The breakfast room had cobwebs and dead flies on the floor. Just not loved! No offer of any of the services like archery or tennis or kayaks or anything from staff. Just poor service from an old hotel. Spend $20 more and go to Ana Mandara or save money and go to Terracota. Much better hotels.

Nice and quiet couple getaway
Amazing location if you want peace and quiet. The resort is furthest from the main roads which makes it a little harder to access than other resorts in the same vicinity. However, the trade-offs is a peaceful and romantic destination for couples. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The beds can be improved and we did have a problem with our hot water which was resolved by maintenance on site. We recommend that you enjoy dinner in town before heading back to the resort because the restaurant is quite small.

Beautiful! 5 Star Experience.
Hotel is immense! The staff are so lovely and friendly.. it feels proper 5 star. It was really empty when we were there which had its pros and cons but overall totally recommend. They do Kayaking on the lake but was unfortunately booked up when we were there. Deffo give it a try!

First of all the hotel is located in one of the most beautiful natural surroundings you could imagine. We had a couple of problems with the plumbing in our room, which was quickly remedied by the maintenance personnel. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. There's a free shuttle that makes runs throughout the day to central Dalat, which is nice for grabbing a meal in town or shopping, etc.

far from downtown but larger noise form group tour
I selected this hotel for calmness. It is located more than 10km from the downtown of Dalat. The guest rooms are scattered from a main building. Everything looks calm and quiet place for relaxation. But the hotel management allowed group tour guests activities in the front of main building. They used a microphone in the 8:45 in the morning. Their morning activity continued till 9:15 am. They even sang a happy birthday song together. They got another activity in same place in the afternoon. I paid more money and time for relaxation from noise. Why I have to listen these kind of noise in isolated place like this hotel? I complained against hotel's unorganized management but the general manager had no intend to solve the problem, even she didn't think it was bothering other guests. The worst thing was small insect. Small insects moved in the closet and walls. This hotel only looks good and designed for local guests. If the guests drove own car, it is ok but the travelers have to pay more dollars form or to the hotel. It is located far away from downtown but they served free shuttle bus service only 3 times a day. I paid around 10 dollars for one way ride. If i put 20 dollars for hotel expense, I can choose any nice hotels in the city area. Please be reasonable for accommodation selection. This hotel had a hidden trap. We have to add more than 20 dollars for the taxi Please take a city hotel instead of isolated area hotel.

One of a kind
I have been traveling internationally for business for 30 years. I have been to all kinds of hotels in more countries than I can remember. But this hotel stands out from the rest, head and shoulders above. When you add in the value factor, this hotel just cannot be beaten. I just can't believe I stayed in this hotel for less than $100.00 a day when I paid more than $700.00 at Palo Alto, California the week before for a room. The hotel is in a remote location, about 7 miles from town. It is by the lakeside in middle of a pine forest. The weather is cool. The air is moist and sweet. There are several clusters of rooms (4 rooms to each cluster) spread out across a huge compound. A walk in the early morning around the campus is precious. You'd forget about the stress. You'd appreciate nature and your life more. I imagine for a just-married couple, this is a perfect place for a honeymoon. I had a car and a driver so going to town is not a problem. Otherwise I guess you have to use the hotel shuttle which runs on a very good schedule. But why leave the hotel? If you are looking for privacy and time away from the world (and I think you are if you are reading this) then this hotel is THE hotel you are looking for. Go ahead, book this one, and bring your sweetheart with you.

Very enjoyable stay
All in all the place was fantastic. I went during a busy holiday weekend but would like to go back when it is less crowded as I'm sure it would be even better.

It was a great stay for us. The facility of the hotel are great, especially the dinning area that locates in the main building above the lake with lots of big trees. We also walked around the lake and tried fishing there. Staffs are very nice and willing to help.

Delightful lake and mountain view.
It seems to be one of the greatest secrets kept from the western. It was hard to find faults with the location, serenity, facilities, food, service or anything else. I must admit I was always waiting for the hidden costs but no! The a la carte meals at the restaurant at night were way more than reasonably priced. None of the extras were over priced at all. Free shuttle buses to Da lat central Extremely quite, picturesque and has a very "amongst nature" feel about the place. Plenty of easy walks and activities if you want. The indoor swimming pool was great and a reasonably well set out gym. The weather was magnificent usually like a warm spring day. The type of weather where you feel you must be outside. I highly recommend the walk ( one or two K's) or taxi up to the "elephant walk" a beautiful spot on the lake with wonderful picnic or BBQ facilities on the hill and pontoons on the lake. If you fancy a ride on the elephant don't expect to see too much of Vietnam because it is a very laid back elephant. It is not prodded with a goad so it gets there in it's own time. (It fits into the area well!) If you want to get away from it all and relax I highly recommend it. Overall it is really exceptional value.
