This stunning retreat is located within a beautiful boutique campground setting, and offers the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience, as it is just a short drive away from the renowned Blossom Music Center and numerous iconic hiking trails. The cabin boasts two beautifully appointed bedrooms, each designed to provide the utmost comfort and relaxation. Step outside onto the deck, where you'll find breathtaking views of the surrounding forest. This cabin is located within Valley Overlook, a private Lodging and Campground area surrounded by the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Travel just minutes to many trailheads for hiking and biking, or bring your kayak for a day on the river. Check out local restaurants in the historic village of Peninsula, just 4 miles to our north. Hop on your bike and take the Towpath Trail as far north as Cleveland or south to Akron. Enjoy local restaurants, breweries, farm markets and more! During your stay, you're free to walk/hike around the property. Please stay on the road when around the other sites and cabins, and respect the privacy of our other guests. Hike our beautiful trail to a scenic overlook with a beautiful westward across the valley. The trail entrance is on our map, which we will send in a message before check-in. Proper hiking footwear and attire is recommended. This two-bedroom cabin space includes: Bedroom w/ Queen Bed Bedroom with 2 twin xl beds Kitchenette w/ dining table Full Bathroom Outdoor Deck Space nestled in the forest This unit is part of a comfortable duplex cabin This cabin is self check-in with parking available on site. If you are traveling with two vehicles, please park the second one in the large lot next to the office located in the large brick building. Maximum of 2 vehicles. Visitors and extra guests are not permitted without prior written approval. No trailers or oversize vehicles without written approval before arrival. The cabin will be ready any time after 4pm. We can sometimes coordinate an early check-in for a fee of $30\. If you're interested in this option, please send a message with the time you hope to arrive, and we will let you know if we can accommodate this request. On some evenings, concerts at our neighbor, Blossom Music Center may be audible. The farm across the street utilizes propane canons during the day for a few weeks out of the year to deter birds from eating their corn. Plan to bring a flashlight, as it can get dark in the woods! We use security cameras to monitor our driveway; there are no recording devices of any kind inside or pointed directly at any living space. What a wonderful time we've had during our first visit to CVNP and Valley Overlook! The cabin was beautiful comfortable, and so close to everything we wanted to experience. Some possible maintenance issues that didn't affect our enjoyment of the cabin: the fan light in the main room appears to be out, the door stop in the bathroom is missing, and the GFCI outlet in the bathroom wasn't working. Just a suggestion: maybe swap the parking spots so that whoever rents the 2-BR cabin has more privacy from the comings and goings of the other renters. When we were "at home" we liked having the blinds and windows open and our own vehicle parked in front of our window would have provided privacy. Thank you so much! We have checked out. ##### Gail L. The firewood was self-serve, too - just text X# how many bundles you used and that was it; a little on the high side cost-wise for firewood, I think. Perhaps my stereoscopic senses are a little off but table and couch in the living room seems smaller than the picture. That was probably my fault. Very comfortable beds.Nice shower. Nice area. The keypad made it easy access and the texting check-in/check-out made the process so simple. Everything was clean and easy to use.
