The location was great. Far enough away from the busy hotels and downtown, but close enough to Custer State Park and Mt Rushmore. It was nice and quiet and watching the stars by the firepit every night was peaceful. The cabin was cozy and comfy. We made coffee and breakfast with the pancake mix, oatmeal and farm fresh eggs that were stocked in the kitchen for us. My son loved having the loft area for his own space.Susan is so great! We werent going to get in till late our first night, so Susan went to our cabin and turnedon the lights for us to make it easierto find at night. It is close enough to town/restaurants (less than 10 minute drive), but secluded in that you have a sense of privacy. We loved sitting on the porch and reading at night. The space is very nicely decorated and arranged. It could easily sleep 4 without any need to pull out couches or use the trundle bed that was provided. The eating area is perfect for a family of 4\. We all felt so relaxed just being there! It was so quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting on the front porch watching the goats. The location was perfect- close enough to town and all the sights but far enough to get away from it all. Lynne, Susan and Tom were wonderful and made the farm life experience so real for our boys.
