If you are looking for well located hotel with reasonable price, I think this hotel is fine. The location, arquitecture, restaurant and staff were great. But the room was very cold and dark, also smelled like medicine. Plus, no soundproof at all. We couldn't sleep because of other guests staying above us.

"Nice hotel high up in San Blas area"
For the price this is a great hotel. Very welcoming on arrival. Checked into our room, which was a nice size, 2 beds. Then we were offered tea in the courtyard. Very pleasant to sit out there. Some of us were experiencing difficulty with wifi, but they kept trying to make it better. Rooms are not soundproof. Guests above us left around 4:00 am, and were very inconsiderate, as quiet as a stampede of bulls. We had requested a breakfast sandwich to go, and a taxi at 6:00 am, but front desk guy must have just woken up, and was frantically setting up tables. He showed us a bread basket, and gave us a bag. Called a taxi, which came about 10 mins later. Upon leaving early from another hotel, they gave us a lovely packed breakfast. Had hoped for the same. However, overall I would recommend this hotel at this price point.

"Good hotel for our family"
This inexpensive hotel is located just steps from the Plaza Regocijo, which itself is just down the street from the Plaza de Armas. It is in an excellent location for historic Cusco. We were there on Good Friday and we had the good fortunate of witnessing the Good Friday parade/procession from our balcony. The breakfast was also pretty good. Coca tea, coffee and fruit smoothies, and cereal, yogurt, fresh bread, avocado and jam rounded out the hearty selection. I really liked the interior breakfast courtyard space. As for the negatives, the room is very basic and the walls are so thin that you could hear every one of your neighbor's steps. We came with two small children so we were probably the ones making the most noise in the hotel. Moreover, there was a car alarm that kept going off right outside of our window all three nights, and it definitely woke me up each night. Lastly, the staff was super friendly. They let us leave our luggage there from 8am the first morning (prior to check in) to 11pm when we returned from Machu Picchu. When we arrived, the receptionist who I believe lives there was kind of drunk, pointed us to the bag room and gave us the room keys. It turned out to be the wrong room size, but we went ahead anyways. In the morning, it turned out that he had not registered us so the morning receptionist had no idea we had stayed there. This was more comedic than anything, not really a complaint. Overall good bargain though.

"Very clean hostel! "
It's a walking distance to the center, it's clean, and the staff is very helpful. It was a bit cold in my room and the front desk had someone bring up a heater without me having to ask. Very accommodating with the breakfast in the morning and the anytime tea. Love this hostel! I'd stay here again.

"clean, comfortable hotel close to Plaza de Armas."
Nice clean room with A/C and two double beds. Had a nice shower/tub combo and a desk. Plenty of space. The courtyard in the hotel was beautiful and the charm of the old building was great. Restaurant was nice and the breakfast hit the spot each morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

"We had a nice stay "
Carlos, the owner was very helpful during our stay and is a very friendly and flexible person. He help us in planning our trip around Cuzco region, and assist us with our luggage while we went to machu Picchu. The breakfast was delicious, fresh bread, eggs, yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea. And they will allow you to grab bottles of water. The room was spacious and clean, and there was hot water in the shower. The place is located in a nice pedestrian street in the San blas area. We definitely recommend it.

"Nice hotel in the Center of Historic District"
We stayed 2 and after our return from Machu Picchu 3 days in the hotel. The staff of this hotel and the break fast is excellent. We had one night dinner in the hotel and the food was good and very convenient. Some rooms has small electric heathers which we liked a lot.
