If you are looking for well located hotel with reasonable price, I think this hotel is fine. The location, arquitecture, restaurant and staff were great. But the room was very cold and dark, also smelled like medicine. Plus, no soundproof at all. We couldn't sleep because of other guests staying above us.

"Good hotel for our family"
This inexpensive hotel is located just steps from the Plaza Regocijo, which itself is just down the street from the Plaza de Armas. It is in an excellent location for historic Cusco. We were there on Good Friday and we had the good fortunate of witnessing the Good Friday parade/procession from our balcony. The breakfast was also pretty good. Coca tea, coffee and fruit smoothies, and cereal, yogurt, fresh bread, avocado and jam rounded out the hearty selection. I really liked the interior breakfast courtyard space. As for the negatives, the room is very basic and the walls are so thin that you could hear every one of your neighbor's steps. We came with two small children so we were probably the ones making the most noise in the hotel. Moreover, there was a car alarm that kept going off right outside of our window all three nights, and it definitely woke me up each night. Lastly, the staff was super friendly. They let us leave our luggage there from 8am the first morning (prior to check in) to 11pm when we returned from Machu Picchu. When we arrived, the receptionist who I believe lives there was kind of drunk, pointed us to the bag room and gave us the room keys. It turned out to be the wrong room size, but we went ahead anyways. In the morning, it turned out that he had not registered us so the morning receptionist had no idea we had stayed there. This was more comedic than anything, not really a complaint. Overall good bargain though.

"Pretty boutique hotel on a quiet street "
Hotel owner's father is a renowned Peruvian artist, so rooms and public spaces are decorated with his original works; made the hotel very homey. The owner cooks breakfast each morning to your specifications and amenities such as a hair dryer and an ironing board and iron were available. I liked the fact that the neighborhood is very safe, that the street it is located on is a pedestrian-only street so it is very quiet at night. Several nice restaurants nearby, and the neighborhood has such conveniences as a laundry, a bakery, a pharmacy, and a small market. That being said, this IS NOT a hotel for people who cannot take climbing. Its peaceful location is because it is in the trendy, artsy San Blas neighborhood which is a hillclimb from the Plaza de Arms area. That means that to reach most of the tourist sites in Cuzco, you must go down the hill each day and, of course, climb back up each night. While it is not impossibly hard (I did it each day for 7 days and I am 70+ years), nevertheless if health is an issue with you, this is not the hotel for you.

"Very clean hostel! "
It's a walking distance to the center, it's clean, and the staff is very helpful. It was a bit cold in my room and the front desk had someone bring up a heater without me having to ask. Very accommodating with the breakfast in the morning and the anytime tea. Love this hostel! I'd stay here again.

"Hotel with many amenities."
This hotel had very helpful and friendly staff. The room was clean, spacious with all the amenities including a room with computer to print boarding passes. The only problem was the barking dogs in the neighbourhood. Unfortunately this was not within the hotel's ability to correct. The staff was able to communicate in English and were helpful to arrange taxi to the airport. Would highly recommend.
