Welcome to the beautiful Currumbin Valley—perfect for your next getaway. At Tomewin Mountain Retreat, enjoy nature-inspired living and sweeping views, with access to an outdoor pool and a tennis court.
Tomewin Mountain Retreat is fully equipped for a family or group of friends. Experience tranquil rainforest living just 15 minutes from the beach and 20 minutes from Gold Coast Airport.
The space
The location of this incredible place can’t be beaten - set on 10 acres of rainforest in the stunning Currumbin Valley. My home, Tomewin Mountain Retreat, is perched high on the property, quiet and private, with wonderful views toward Mt Cougal, Springbrook, and the Tamborine Mountains. Tomewin Mountain Retreat has 2 houses with a total of 6 bedrooms, sleeping 14. The main house has 4 bedrooms and the second residence has 2 bedrooms (please see floor plans for details).
Wonderful for relaxation and rejuvenation, the house is renovated, spacious, and beautifully appointed throughout, offering style, comfort and a peaceful connection with the surrounding wildlife.
The large open plan kitchen is luxurious, and beautifully set up with everything you need. First class appliances are provided, including a dishwasher, a full sized fridge, a large oven, gas cooking and all mod cons. There are bar stools in the kitchen area, and a dining room table, so that meals can be easily prepared and served at home.
The extremely comfortable sofas are perfect for curling up on, for those nights spent relaxing at home – enjoy a movie on the large flat screen TV which comes with Foxtel. There is also full wireless internet access- so you can stay connected, even from this natural paradise.
Guests staying longer than a couple of days will be pleased to know that there are laundry facilities provided, so that you can take care of your washing from the ease and comfort of home.
You are going to love the stunning nature of the local area, plus the beautiful and relaxing environment of this wonderful home.

Lovely views
Lovely property views. The lights went out a couple of times in the main house (power tripped) which might have been because too many lights were on (no applicances on at the time) but not sure. Bed was comfy. Fireplace was nice. No way to light the fire available but owner offered to bring a lighter down which was nice but we had matches in the car luckily. There did seem to be concern that the family trip was a party, which for a family with 2 pregnant sisters and quite a few young kids couldn't have been further from the truth. There was a request for everyones names and numbers and at least 3 reminders of the rules around parties which was confusing (we are mostly introverted adults in our 40s and 50s haha). Maybe the property is mainly used for yoga retreats or similar (which it is well suited for)? Either way not a big issue just very strange. Service is a bit sketchy in the area so just something to be aware of. Enjoy.

A Perfect Getaway – Highly Recommended!
We had an amazing stay at this property! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The house was exactly as described – spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy bedrooms and a relaxing outdoor space.The location was ideal, offering the perfect balance between privacy and convenience. We were just a short drive from local shops, cafes, and stunning beaches, which made it easy to explore the area.The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in and check-out a breeze.

Spectacular
Fabulous views, kitchen and pool, and even the storms that rolled in were spectacular. There was plenty of room for our party of 14 and the kitchen was the hub of all the action, we would stay again.

Perfect property for family get away! The property is big enough the kids had ample room to between the pool,tennis court and land the kids were never out of things to do. Big living areas perfect for family game nights and movie nights. Will 100% be back to this property!

Fantastic family getaway
Stayed at this property for 4 nights with extended family. Between the pool, tennis court, pool table and sitting areas we had plenty to do without leaving the property.
The kitchen was fantastic and we really appreciated the ample seating around the benches.
The layout of the bedrooms allowed everyone to spread out and have their own space while still being all together and enjoying each other's company.
The host was really responsive, meeting us at the property to show us around and then promptly answering any questions during our stay.
I'd highly recommend this property for family gatherings!

Currumbin valley escape !
The weather was amazing. I could sit out the front of the house and look out over the mountains all day. When it got quite hot we were able to retreat to under the bali hut for afternoon tea while others swam.
The house was equipped with everything you could need and was so private and spacious. There was amazing coffee about a 2 min drive away at a place called the organic farm. I would love to stay here again when we visit QLD

Better than expected! The most amazing getaway!
Had such a lovely and relaxing family getaway at this beautiful house stay! I really wished we booked for a longer stay.
It was very clean and spacious for a group of friends and family. You could have a bbq, swim and play tennis.
If a fun getaway is what you’re after you won’t regret this stay!

Excellent family getaway
Our 3-generation family really enjoyed the calm and green surrounding of the property. We also enjoyed playing tennis and exploring the nearby Currumbin rock pool. Plenty of room for everyone. Everything we needed was provided. Check in was easy and friendly. The property manager Talissa was very responsive.

Great weekend away with family and friends l
Great property for a large group for a weekend away in Currumbin Valley. There is something for everyone across the 2 houses here. Driving up and down the valley can get a bit tedious so I would suggest buying all groceries before arriving, but even then not a problem. Would love to stay again.
