Even though there was a strong prairie wind blowing we did not feel it in our tent- in fact it was like a windy lullaby that soothed us to sleep. The view from our tent was mesmerizing- beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding prairie. The tent was well lighted, and the beds were very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful! Very peaceful and serene. A great chance to unplug and unwind and uncork! We had a fantastic experience in the tasting room!! So much fun! Great hospitality, everyone was so nice. We spent some time at Shetek State Park and Shetek Resort and Key Largo, about 20 minutes away. However, one thing I would change is the outdoor shower doesn't have an actual door, just a shower curtain and it was really windy so you didn't get much privacy there as the wind kept blowing the curtain open.
