O hotel em geral é bom. Cama confortável e chuveiro bom. Chegamos mais cedo do horário programado para o check in e os staffs não permitiram a nossa entrada mesmo com quarto disponível. Tivemos que pagar parte de uma diária + 5%. Como estávamos cansados do voo, pagamos o valor que nos foi cobrado. A grande maioria dos hotéis são mais maleáveis quanto ao check in mais cedo, caso haja disponibilidade sem cobrança. O que não foi ocorreu.

Sadly I cannot recommend the Mercure. The staff was awkward towards us and would often ignore our family in favor of native speaking guests even while in line. While I highly recommend the restaurant downstairs and the breakfast, a majority of the staff in which we interacted with needs to take notes from the staff at the Radisson just a few blocks down the road. They added charges to our rooms and were caught by surprise we actually reviewed them. They apologized a thousand times… but clearly they like to take advantage of foreign guests. My suggestion for the Mercure team, etiquette and awareness. If you are paying top dollar you expect top results. Paying the same price at the Radisson and it’s a stark contrast in favor of the Radisson.

Thanks for the comments.At check-out, we asked for the items to be checked for all guests, when it was found that there were no minibar consumptions, they were duly reversed.We look forward to a future opportunity.

It's an option when staying in Curitiba
The location of this hotel is the best reason to choose it. The building shows signs of ageing and require cosmetic improvements.

Great spot in Curitiba
Great location. Staff is really friendly and customer oriented, they all speak English which is a plus in Curitiba! Excellent breakfast and great restaurant. Really convenient walk to many stores and restaurants nearby.

Still good, but rooms need renovation.
Service is flawless, with friendliest staff. Breakfast is delicious, with plenty of options. Public areas are in good shape, but rooms need some renovation. The tiny bathroom is a big negative.

Excellent hotel in a good location. Close to shopping, good restaurants and night life. Staff is very kind. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. If you are a foreign traveler, the cable TV accommodates English speaking guests.

2 times 1 month. Gave smokers room, I hate smokin
Stayed same hotel like 3 weeks before, and the elevators did not work. My secretary told me to give another chance, for on night only. The check in was normal, I was given the keys for the room and being so tired I went to sleep fast. Wake up 1AM sneezing smelling are odor, realized that they gave me a "smokers room", when my profile on Le Club makes very clear that my preference is non-smoking, I see an ashtray on the counter and realized that was the reason for my discomfort. The front desk people don't seem to care, they don't smile don't greet customers with enthusiasm, it seems like there is a morale problem. When I voiced my concern next morning they didn't seem to care!! so it goes 2 for 2, my last time there.

Poorly managed, front desk people insensitive.
First 2 mornings elevators did not work, I waited 10 minutes and took the service elevators. used by housekeepers. Went to front desk to complain got some blank stares. Not engaged at all. After breakfast, same situation, one would think that they would put a sign saying, OUT OF SERVICE, but again they were too busy talking amongst themselves. called room service 4AM, took 20 minutes to answer. Coffee and Milk waited another 20 minutes to get it. Complained they took off the bill. The only hotel I've seen that makes you wait 40 minutes for coffee, Mattress soft, needs to be replaced, cigarette burns on floor on a non smirking room!!!! The hotel doesn't have "culture of service" except for one girl who made the check late evening.

The Location is great... few minutes walk to Batel main venue The stuff was absolutely nice and on the money The facility is incredible... little gym but great pool and sauna.. Breakfast is not too fancy but right on

Undergoing refurb, excellent customer service
Having stayed in Mercure hotels across Brazil we were very surprised at the condition of our original room. I immediately raised my concerns with the reception team and thankfully the customer service is first rate. A genuinely concerned and very polite gent addressed all of my concerns and provided us with a new room which he personally inspected in advance. When refurbished the hotel should be as good as the other Mercure hotels in Brazil.

Nice place to stay
The hotel is good and in a great location which is hy we chose it. We were in town for the weekend and needed easy access to this general area. The staff was plesant and te room (2br suite) was large enough for us. It was clean and had the microwav and fridge we needed, however it was lacking a few basics for the kitchen that should be included with a room having a kitchen. The biggest issue was that it is on the main street and the windows in the hotel are very old and thin, so there was a LOT of street noise. With a 2yr old in our room the noise kept him awake for a while as it did for us when we went to sleep. also, we called for help withth eluggage when checking out but no one arrived so had to take all the bags ourselves without a cart. I am sure we could have buged them to help but after waiting 10mins we just had to leave. Overall a good rating, call it 3.8 out of 5.

It is a good hotel. Not amazing, but good. People are friendly but there are many problems with the service. They never came to get the dish after I ordered room service. The gym has some good stuff but not all machines were working properly. The food is good. The hotel location is perfect. And that's all.

It is an okay hotel in Curitiba
For the price, you get what you pay for. The area is okay. You have to walk or take cabs to get anywhere, so it isn´t that convenient. I did not feel that welcomed by the staff and they speak very little English, so it was hard to communicate.

Primeiramente houve problema com minha reserva - nesta plataforma aparece adolescente de 17 anos como criança. E escolhi.uma suíte executiva, que entendi havia um sofá cama. Chegando no hotel, foi-me cobrado uma diferença por meu filho ser considerado adulto. Ok. Momento em que ressaltei a importância de ser corrigida a informação nesta plataforma. Paguei sem problemas. Contudo, meu filho assinou o check-in, portanto foi visto.pelo concierge, e este não nos disse que não havia lugar para ele dormir no quarto. Não era um sofá cama! Era apenas um pequeno sofá! E, pior! Foi colocado lençol para ele dormir. Eu até agora não acredito neste episódio. Mais, os manobristas da garagem PAGA são extrememante mal educados e desorganizados. Você fica horas esperando.pelo carro, não sabem onde colocam.as chaves, e se você reclamar eles respondem de forma bem rude. Não recomendo este hotel
