Is the first hotel 5 stars of Curitiba, beautiful and makes part of city culture! Breakfast wonderful… But, like the oldest hotel need to fix the toilet flush, mirrors, and bedding mattresses…! Still a really good hotel in the best part of the heart center of Curitiba! No regrets at all!

The services was lacking. You expect more from well known brand like Burbon. The staff were nice and pleasant but the service was lacking for a 4 star hotel. An example of this was when they cut the water off at 10 am and didn't informed us,so I can schedule myself around the inconvenienced! The rooms were little outdated and the sheet seems old. The shower was one of the best thing from the room. The service provided better fit a 2-3 star hotel but not a 4 star hotel. Also for the price you pay definitely not worth it.

Old world manners with South American charm
An excellent hotel with old world manners and charm. It was an older building, so the room was a little small. But it was tastefully furnished, clean, and cheery. Excellent breakfast. In the heart of the historic city. I loved my stay.

1- De cara, o atendente estava de mal humor, solicitando documentos com tom ácido, estava dando bronca em outra funcionário do hotel na frente de hóspedes. 2- Achei um absurdo pelo valor da diária, sendo que estava sozinho, me colocarem em um quarto com divisória de uma porta para outro quarto, escutava tudo o que acontecia no outro quarto, extremamente desagradável

The room is definitely not as shown in the pictures. It's worst than most of the budget hotels around. The mini fridge extremely noisy, the shower and washroom looks like is has never been renovated for the last 30 years and don't work properly , the room very old and smelly. Great staff and ok breakfast. Overral, not worth the money.

A great week's stay
Breakfast was excellent apart from the croissants - they were very dry. Bathroom could have been a little bit cleaner. Staff were all very good and attended to the bathroom condition immediately when contacted. Great locationand the aeroportoexecutivo bus service stops directly outside.

One of the best in Curitiba but with issues
This is a big hotel in the center of Curitiba. One of the best in Curitiba but still with some serious flaws. Very bad internet access in corner rooms. We booked on hotels.com and on the check in we were asked to pay more than what the website said. We warned about it and they corrected if. Staff asked us to sign a document saying that if something is stolen in the hotel, the hotel is not responsible. This is unacceptable! The hotel also asked us to pay in advance. No hotel does that. Unacceptable. The rooms: the rooms have no coffee machine and no bar. You can get coffee only by room service. The positive: the staff is helpful, especially Eduardo. Five stars for him! Then, the premiere rooms on top floors are huge, they have coffee machines, large bathrooms, and are worth the money. The gym and sauna are great.

A nice enough hotel that could do with some love
It's a good hotel, heavy room doors, a bit worn, could with an upgrade. Pleasant staff. The breakfast had plenty of options, but was not that tasty. It's an OK place to stay.

In this neighborhood, this is still the best option. The breakfast was good, with lots of options. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The sushi bar was a nice feature of the hotel. Good service and tasty drinks. There were a few problems that may make this a less desirable choice. First, be aware that this is a somewhat dangerous area for tourists. The hotel does have a 24 hr security guard, which I appreciated. But be careful - don’t wear expensive jewelry or walk around with big cameras. If safety is a priority, you may want to explore hotels in the Batel neighborhood (Brazil is not for the faint of heart :-) The hotel itself needs a few improvements to truly be a four star hotel. The rooms are a bit stuffy because the air conditioning turns off as soon as you leave the room. A tip is to ask for two keys - leave one in the slot inside the room to keep the AC going while you are out. The bathroom needs a fan to keep it dry (Curitiba is very humid in summer and mold can be a problem). While I was there, one of the elevators was out of service for an entire week - so a long wait to get back to the room. Overall, this was a convenient choice for where I needed to be. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast and bar. And just a few minor inconveniences. I would likely stay here again in the future.

Below expectations, go somewhere else.
I should have listened to the reviews but got carried away by the +VIP which was low value and only got a discount of ARB 50 for the dinner not worth it. Only scrambled egg for breakfast and few breads very poor! They overcharged me for the 3rd person than the published rate they have. When we only occupied Double Luxury but they charge me higher than the Triple Luxury. I even have proof and receipt with pictures. The hotel is just well decorated like given a cover up to hide something. Only 1 elevator was fucntioning. The bathtub is less desirable and slippery be careful when taking a shower. That should be remove to prevent accidents. I stayed for 5 miserable days here will never ever come back.

Good hotel
The hotel need some refurbishment but apart form this everything is excellent. Staff is very friendly and nice. Restaurant is very good both for lunch/dinner and for the breakfast.

Unfortunately, the hotel was not clear about their cancelation policies when I made my reservations. I tried to cancel the hotel 5 days before I arrive and I got informed that they would not reimburse me. Terrible! Never again I will make a reservation for any Bourbon.
