DESCRIPTION:
Situated on 5 acres, you'll love the surrounding woods around District Creek! Mixing a modern aesthetic with log-style design creates something new and exciting at this charming cabin-style home! This beautifully furnished log cabin features professional furnishings brought together to create a memorable retreat. The interior offers plenty of room for family and friends with three levels of living space, including a cozy loft and lower level family room. The open concept main level has a great room with fireplace, dining room, and kitchen with stainless steel appliances. When you are ready to explore the great outdoors, step outside to enjoy the spacious yard, or take short walk to the home’s lake access for a quiet morning on the lake.

ACCESS DETAILS:
Lake Access is located at the end of a gravel road down Meadow Mountain Run Drive (turn left out of the driveway). There is a small parking area and a walking path down to the water. Dock slips are for canoes and kayaks only. No motorized vehicles. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The subject of this email will start with "URGENT: Complete Your Booking For"... and may be in your Promotional/Marketing folders depending on your email provider and settings.

TOILETRIES & PAPER PRODUCTS: Bed linens and bath towels provided w/rental. No soaps, toiletries, paper products, trash bags, etc. will be provided with the exception of a welcome bag including a few starter items. Please pack accordingly.

NOTE: A copy of the contract holder's Photo ID, a signed contract, and a list of your full travel party (names/ages of all attending) will be required to complete your booking. If booking last minute, you may be required to stop by our main office to show your photo ID and the credit card used on the reservation. This policy is in place to help combat fraudulent activity that is more likely to occur in last-minute arrivals.

Great getaway

Great house, plenty of room and amenities whether you want to stay home or do it all. Jucuzzi and pool / ping pong table were the highlights. It had a treehouse and nice fire pit. Trails nearby and access to the water is available but not as close as we thought. Definitely couldn’t access the water via kayak. Too far from the house. House was clean inside. The Outside was pretty spiderwebby . Overall great place and price. We saw plenty of wildlife like deer and beaver and a little chipmunk that lived there. Super close to the state park and beach. Secluded enough to have a nice time at the Jacuzzi and very relaxing weekend despite the close proximity to the road

Perfect family vacation

We had a great stay at District creek! This was a family vacation with 6 adults and 3 kids. The cabin was clean and had more than what we needed in the kitchen. Plenty of community space for us to eat and play together and also plenty of space for time to yourself. The property manager was very responsive when we had questions. Close to all the activities we wanted to do (boating and tubing, swallow Falls park, wisp Resort, etc). Highly recommend! We would stay here again!

Wonderful property but a few small improvements would help!

The house and property was beautiful, and the tree house was a nice surprise! Everything was clean. There were a couple of issues, however. Soon after we arrived, the power went out, and though we left multiple messages with the after hours service, we got no response (even the next business day!). There is a broken drawer in the refrigerator that has some pretty sharp pieces, and this could really have hurt someone! We mentioned this in the messages as well. Also, I'm not sure what could be done about this - but the hot water seemed pretty limited (we had to carefully time showers and washing dishes). There were also A LOT of flies inside the house (we checked to ensure the windows and doors were all shut tightly). Overall, a beautiful place - but it could be so much better if the refrigerator drawer was fixed and the property manager was more responsive.

Great property, clean, stocked, plenty of room. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the outside of the home was in need of some care - dirty front porch, cobwebs all over porch and deck, grass not cut, lots of weeds, etc.

Beautiful

Stayed here with my siblings and our children. very beautiful, well kept property. Far enough from neighbors, but close enough to stores and such. Our family loved everything. There was a beautiful Christmas tree decorated and lit for our arrival next to a fireplace. The downstairs was big enough to keep the kids entertained with toys, games, ping-pong/pool table, and a large TV while the adults relax upstairs. We all agree that we would definitely stay here again!

Everything was very clean in the house and looked like it matched the photos online. The check in/out time frames felt a little late and a little early. Something with a check in at 3 and check out at 11 may have been better. The evening you check in is gone by the time you eat dinner and the morning you check out you have to clean and eat fast to get out by 10. The only real complaint was there was nothing to rake the fire pit with to be able to have a fresh fire. Everything was covered in ash and wouldn’t hold a flame.

Amazing house and great location!

Stayed for a few days between Christmas and New Years with a few families and kids. So many good things to say about the house - amazing construction, great open layout, tons of space. Really enjoyed the large living room with fireplace, gathering in the kitchen and playing downstairs. Also loved the many amenities - coffee area, tons of toys for the kids to play with and they even had Moscow mule cups. The short walk to the lake was nice as well. Only knock was the nonstick pots/ pans were old and weren’t the best to cook with. That was disappointing as we cooked the entire time.

Beautiful Cabin!

We spent 4 days here...Its a beautiful cabin and it had everything we needed. Only a few minor maintenance issues but nothing that spoiled our stay. Our only complaint would be that the pictures are a little deceiving as to the location. The cabin sits on a corner lot with a "main road" running right in front of the deck and the hot tub. Luckily we went in early Spring when the traffic was light.

Beautiful well kept home

The house was perfect for our needs. Lots of room for hanging out and well stocked kitchen with all the needed appliances and dishes. Hot tub and outdoor shower was very nice, so was the grill and picnic table. Location was perfect for proximity to the state park and local shopping and eating areas. Lake access, seems a stretch to walk to without needing to make a steep hike through the woods.

Beautiful Cabin to stay with family or friends

We loved our time at this gorgeous cabin. Beautifully decorated, lots of room and extremely comfortable Beds! We had plenty of room to play lawn games outside, grill out and enjoy the hot tub. The only downside is that it is right on the road and no lake access. We rented boats and drove them to the state park which worked out fine. There is a small lake access but it's too far to take boats and not swimmable. I would rent if not worried about easy access to lake. It would be great for the winter as well.
