Few of the things that I love capturing are stunning reflections, colors, landscapes and skylines. I returned to this park almost after three years and wasn't disappointed at all. Rocky gap State Park is located in Western Maryland, 2 hours drive from Baltimore. The fall colors have not peaked in this part of Maryland yet, but likely they will in the next one week. We enjoyed the country setting and the spacious deck and appreciated that we were still close to things we wanted to do in the Cumberland area. Beds were comfortable and the entire place was clean and as shown in the photos from the listing. We did not make much use of the kitchen facilities, but the kitchen seemed to be well stocked. The Cozy Cottage is in a convenient location, and is close to downtown Cumberland and the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. It was very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. We were very happy we could bring along our little dog. The view from the back deck is beautiful, and the beds are comfortable. It snowed while we were out for the day, and when we returned the driveway and walkway were shoveled. We really appreciated this! We highly recommend the Cozy Cottage, and would book again! I'm from this area & we was able to visit my family, some came here to visit us. Was able to visit my parents grave sites & other family members! I was able to visit school classmates!
