« Everything was perfect. We took a trip with five baseball dads and seven 13 year-olds and everyone had a blast. From a bonfire in the backyard to sitting around watching football together, to fishing at Lake Shelbyville, and especially the indoor gym area. The owners are also extremely nice and helpful. 10 out of 10\. Definitely recommend. »

« The house wonderful we went up there for fishing, But unfortunately it was very hot and we did not catch to many fish. But we all really enjoyed the house. We got up there a little early and we asked Amber the host if we could get in early and she yes. This is the second time we rented her house. She is such a gracious host. I would recommend this house to stay in. Was fantastic. Thank you again Amber. »

It was also very well stocked with everything our family needed, which made the stay easy and comfortable.The host went above and beyond by setting up a Christmas tree and holiday décor, which made it feel warm, welcoming, and like home during the holidays. « The Bunkhouse was the perfect place for us to gather this Christmas. Having a beautiful Christmas tree lit up in the family room was a bonus! We enjoyed throwing rocks in the lake with our two grandsons and hanging out around the campfire with everyone during the warmer than usual weather which was unexpected. The cabin was so well designed and with all the careful details which made our stay so easy and comfortable. We really appreciated the cleanliness and my 8 yr. old grandson was able to...

« Great Host! The lake house was perfect for our family and the host was welcoming and available if we had questions. It was too cold to enjoy the outdoors or 2 covered porches/decks. This would be a fantastic home to rent in the warmer months to enjoy the decks and lake! Our stay was wonderful, can't think of one thing to make it better! Thank you! »

« Beautiful house and lake setting. Close enough to town to pickup supplies or go out to eat. Gas grill on deck worked great. Our family reunion worked well there. It was a good central location for those living in different areas of Illinois. 3 very nice bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. Plenty of space to spread out and do your own thing if desired. We did not have time to use the hot tub or game table. Kitchen big enough to cook most of our meals together. We really enjoyed our time there. Nothing bad...
