![Just happened to find these falls via Pinterest, didn't expect these to be so amazing. The picture doesn't do this justice. 

Cullman, Alabama is home to one of the largest waterfalls in the state. Larkwood Falls is located in the Larkwood subdivision, a neighborhood built near Lake Catoma in Cullman. The waterfall is the natural spill-over from the lake and is active year round. The falls are well-hidden, but well-worth finding for the waterfall lover. « We celebrated my husband’s 55th birthday with family and friends. Daniel the host was more than accommodating. He let us check in early and check out late. I know this could not have happened if he was expecting new guests. The house was very clean, well stocked kitchen, bedrooms very spacious and comfortable. The views were amazing. My husband said this was his best birthday. We will definitely be back. »

« Weather did not cooperate for our fishing trip, but we visited Cathedral Caverns which was nice. The water was too shallow and grassy for our boat at the house, but we weren’t far from a ramp. Huge backyard with seating area, would be nice for family gathering. House was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable! Close to food, and activities. Guntersville is one of my favorite lakes, it’s beautiful and clean. »

« We will definitely be back. The host pics don't do the property justice. Maybe it was the time of year we stayed, but I expected a lot of traffic from Marina customers and there was very little and everything was peaceful with lots of privacy. There's next to no noise at night. And the yard the pics show was big enough for us to go out and throw a frisbee around and play other games. We enjoyed the porch swing at the end of the dock and even got to play with the Marina Mascot, Harvey, the big...
