Loved the sea views from the seating area on the landing. Great place to chill, read etc. Breakfast menu extensive with delicious vegetarian and vegan options. Although we arrived very late, self check-in was easy and meant we didn't need to disturb our hosts.

Good base in the Buckie area
Great spot to stay if visiting the Buckie area. Right on the main street, close to shops and pubs/restaurants. Nice view over the sea from the rear also. Warm welcome and excellent food. Could not be more accommodating.

Wonderful old house which has been beautifully updated and modernized. Great views from the bedroom. Very comfortable bed, nice amenities and excellent fully modern bathroom. The owners are the most gracious hosts and they are wonderful cooks. We highly recommend taking advantage of their dinner service (extra cost) in addition to the standard breakfast offering.

Braw Buckie B&B
Lovely wee guest house if you visiting the Buckie area. Owners are friendly and attentive. Rooms are very clean, well resourced and comfy. Breakfast has much choice and is well worth the price. An added bonus is the possibility of a meal in the evening which is very good value for a really interesting choice. I'd happily stay here again.

I’ve stayed here once before and because I enjoyed it so much I stayed again. They offer an evening meal service and send you their excellent menu in advance. The food is DELICIOUS as was my breakfast the next day. They are a lovely couple and whenever I’m back up there I’ll stay there again.

Jackie is wonderful, so welcoming and friendly. Our room was super clean with a nice bathroom with shower and a sea view. Splendid breakfast with masses of options to choose from. Jackie gave us lots of tips on where we should visit along the coast and a top tip on where to see the seals.

I had a very warm welcome from the owners who overall were VERY helpful which I really appreciated. Excellent service, lovely evening meal, and delicious (large) breakfast. I’d highly recommend this place.

Overnight stay. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We were in room 1 which looks out the back and with a seaview. Room was a good size. TV, free WiFi, information book, Tea and Coffee making facilities with biscuits and sweets, if you needed more milk you could go down to dining area and fill a jug, bottled water, iron board (iron in hall), hairdryer and toiletries. Bathroom a decent size and large shower cubicle. Breakfast had hot and cold options- something for everyone. Half way up the stairs there is a small conservatory area, very cozy just to relax and enjoy the seaview. Very comfy bed. Could not fault. Highly reccommend.

Fantastic B&B. Jackie and Mike are wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Food was great. My room was fantastic. Big and comfy and lovely view of the Moray Firth from my window. Their location was perfect for day trips to tons of historic places and beautiful locations.

Kintrae Guest House
We had a lovely stay. The welcome we got was great and the Kintrae was excellent in all respects, our room which was warm, very clean with a lovely comfortable bed, very good en suite with a great shower. The small lounge overlooking the sea was a good place to enjoy a quiet read with a cup of coffee. The location is good being on the main street.

Home from home
Comfortable, welcoming; convenient location, easy parking; great breakfast. Fast internet access made my evening's work, sitting in the sun room, straight-forward. The owners are lovely - helpful and friendly, they make the place feel warm and relaxed. The breakfast was superb! The Co-op right across the road saw us right for a couple of drinks with our take-away curries from an excellent Indian in the town square. Although we were only there for one night, I'd definitely return.

Nice victorian house
Checked in took a nap and went down street toward town about 1 block turn right then first left into a parking lot. Go inside bar 12 and get a parking disk. and your all set to go explore the town. Bar 12 has great food too

my wife & i stayed at kintrae while walking the moray coastal trail and we both agreed jackie & mike were the most down to earth & welcoming hosts out of all our other stopovers that week, lovely couple. both jackie & mike very informative re the area (thanks for the heads up re the bengal we had a lovely meal there). very comfortable nights sleep and a superb breakfast which set us up for our walk to cullen that day, thanks guys.

Really enjoyed my 4 night stay at Kintrae B&B. The bed was really comfortable and the room had all you needed. I was there for work and this was the best accommodation I had in a 3 week period so would appeal to those looking for a base to explore the surrounding area as well. I really appreciated the offer to cook breakfast for me each morning although it was a lot earlier than the regular serving times. Good choice available as well.

I loved this B&B. Mike and his wife (sorry forgot name!) were two of the best hosts you could find. Room was very comfortable. Loved the sun room looking out to the ocean as the sun was setting.

Great Bed & Breakfast!
My husband and I stayed at the Kintrae B&B for one night, due to personal reasons. We found it to be clean and homely and the owners could not do enough to make our stay very pleasant. The immaculate ensuite room had comfortable twin beds, tv, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and bottled water, as well as biscuits and sweets! The home cooked breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend this establishment!

My work takes me all over Scotland and while I have visited many hotels and B&B's I do not often post a review as they do not stand out from average. This is the second time I have stayed at Kintrae B&B and it is so much better than average. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, warm and great views. A very tasty breakfast is served in a well appointed dining room which guests can use in the evening to enjoy a take away from a variety of local fast food outlets, there are local restaurants to dine in too. A fridge in the dining room is always stocked with fresh milk for guests and can be used to store food etc. I will certainly book in again the next time I am working near Buckie.

Our trip wasn't planned too far in advance and was to attend a funeral. Mike and Jackie couldn't have been more welcoming and attentive. The B&B is centrally situated in Buckie. Tips on local restaurants and attractions were freely offered and an iron and board were no trouble to press our suits. The breakfast was plentiful and well cooked with a good variety on offer. The room was comfortable and well equipped the bathroom, though shared, was large and well equipped and shared use was not a problem. Overall excellent hosts offering an excellent service. I would recommend Kintrae to all.
