Do to the amazing views and unique proximity to the ocean; no expense was spared in the design of the large, high-end luxury Studio. Located in the Residence Mont Vernon, this exceptional condo offers completely unobstructed views of Orient Beach, St. Barth and Tintamarre while sitting in the comfort of your private terrace. Enjoy your vacation in a spacious 850 sq ft luxury studio, only a few steps away from the ocean and the swimming pool, where you can hear the soothing sound of the ocean inside the apt. Decorated with an Balinese flair, this oversized condo has a custom designed king size teak bed, high end kitchen with full size refrigerator with bottom freezer and icemaker, a four burner induction cook top, Meile Dishwasher, two zone wine cooler “Cruset“ pots & pans, crystal wine glasses, “Fiesta Ware” dishes and designer silverware. The bathroom has a 7 ft walk-in shower with both fixed and hand-held showerheads, overhead rain, body sprays, and teak bench. The 8’ vanity has a desert-stone marble top with 2 sinks, each with adjustable mirrors and lots of space. The living area is furnished with Balinese antiques. Complete with a one of a kind, hand carved teak daybed, coffee table, seating area, a unique dining table with modern teak chairs and stunning antique buffets. The condo is equipped with high speed DSL, a Bose Wave radio with clock and Ipod dock, a flat screen TV with apple TV, hairdryer, curling iron, coffee maker, and toaster oven. We also provide our guests with 4 beach towels, 2 beach chairs, beach umbrella and a local cell phone for their convenience. This unit offers an exceptional environment for either a romantic getaway, the adventurous water sport enthusiast, or just for those looking for a relaxing vacation in the sun. It is just a few steps from the condo to the oversized pool, tennis courts and the world famous Orient Beach with its water activities, many beach bar/restaurants, little stores, and markets. The best part of this rental was the location: next to the largest pool on the island with an unobstructed view of the ocean!The unit is nicely furnished. The kitchen, dining area, and bedroom (very comfortable bed) are one large, open-concept design, and very spacious! We like to cook, so we were happy with the well-equipped kitchen and good-quality pots and appliances. Beyond the usual salt and pepper, we found an array of spices and oils, coffee, and tea; this was very helpful. The large walk-in shower with nice dark green stone tiles makes this bathroom super, as is the rest of the unit.We really enjoyed our time here and are already planning our return next year! ##### Gabor R. Oriental Bay provides a gorgeous view and nice 10 minute walk on the beach to the village at one end with all sorts of shops and delicious restaurants. But the beach has a very rough surf. We have been renting in Mt Vernon complex for the past ten years. This studio is located in one of the best bld. It is double size compare to other similar properties in this complex. The view is magnificent. The studio is tastefully decorated and has all modern amenities. The bed is king size and has a very comfortable mattress. It has two quite air conditioners. The shower is also extra large and has several water jets. It has oversized patio where you have direct ocean view and can enjoy the sunset. We were warned by the owner that the swimming pool and tennis court are still under repairs after Irma. Both, the owner, Alex and the manager, Sofia were very accommodating. The apartment was stocked with refreshments, snacks and coffee upon our arrival. I definitely would like to rent it next year. Everything we needed was available. The condo is just steps from the pool and a few more to the beach. From the patio you have a beautiful view of the pool, The Caribbean and the white sand beach in-between. We only used the A/C about half of the time we were there because of the nice ocean breezes you can have through the condo in the evening. This condo was recently updated and it shows with all very nice high end appliances and furnishings. The king size bed is very comfortable and it seems even larger than a king size. Only steps from the beach, this unit was well equipped for everything we needed for our week-and-a half long trip. The Mt Vernon complex has a nice pool, is well maintained, and was quiet. The condo's patio was great for relaxing, enjoying a drink, and listening to the surf. The beach in front of the complex was sparsely crowded with plenty of room. The owner checked in with us during our stay to ensure everything was OK. After staying there, it was clear the owner is very considerate of the needs of his guests. We highly recommend this unit and would stay there again in the future. ##### Timothy M. If not the best location in Mont Vernon, it is in the top three. Great view of the pool and beach with easy access from the ground floor slider to both. The studio was equipped with nearly everything one could desire with the exception of a microwave for re-heating the wonderful cuisine from the near-by restaurants. It was clean, the bed comfortable, nice shower (once we figured out how to make it work) and everything worked well. The only small downside was that for us, there was not comfortable seating in the studio. A nice chair, or two, to allow one to sit and enjoy the view from inside would be a great addition. Outside, the Mont Vernon complex is a little time worn and could use some maintenance. Although there was a bit of a walk from the parking, it was not difficult, and parking was always available. The owner, Alex, and local manager, Desmond, were available via the supplied local cell phone, and both checked on us through our stay to make sure all was well. We used the rental car company recommended by Alex (Justice) and owner Marcus was very nice. The only glitch was that he forgot we were coming and we waited a bit before he came and picked us up at the airport, but all worked out. There are some very good restaurants in nearby Orient Village (check TripAdvisor) as well as on the beach (but hours on the beach businesses were limited in many cases to before 5pm). We did a island boat tour with Captain Bob--despite the wind limiting where we could go, we had a blast but the snorkeling was not great. I would rent this studio from Alex in a second if returning to the island. There is not enough space for me to continue with the positives, but this was a great trip with a awesome location to base from! ##### John H. ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Londa V. 10 févr. 2016 #### We had such a great vacation at this perfectly located, beautiful condo. We loved our stay in this condo located just steps away from the beach. The condo was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We stayed for ten days and had such a wonderful time exploring the area with local restaurants, shops and grocery store within a ten minute walk on the beach. The pool was very nice and was well maintained every day. The beach on our end was not crowded, but some days we walked a little ways up the beach and sat at the beach bar/restaurants which had more people. The chairs cost $10 each or if you ate lunch there, they didn't charge us. We took a little boat over to Pinel Island one day and really enjoyed our time there snorkeling. One day we went on a sailboat excursion around the island of Anguilla and REALLY enjoyed that. One day we hiked up to Pic Paradis and the view from up there was breathtaking. We rented a car from Marcus at Justice Rental who both picked us up and took us back to the airport. Being able to drive around the island was really nice but the traffic can be really bad at times. We ate several times in Grand Case and really enjoyed that, the local restaurants there were great. There is a lovely church on the main street in Grand Case where we attended Mass on Sunday and loved it. The people were very welcoming and friendly. We took a ferry over to St. Barth's and rented a four-wheeler and toured the island and beautiful beaches. Most of all my husband and I cannot begin to convey our gratitude to Alex, the manager of the condo, for being so good at getting back to us when we had questions or concerns. He went over and beyond for us and it really meant a lot that he was so helpful and welcoming. We highly recommend this place and hope to return one day with our family. ##### Londa V.
