Good rest and good breakfast
Location is not great for city centre but if you have a car it's a good option. Breakfast was great and staff super friendly and attentive.

It´s a good hotel. clean. staff were very helpful. parking was free and on site. The only down side, and It was my bad, I din´t check the location of the hotel and since I wanted to be close to downtown. I had to take a taxi, it was 9 Euros. No bad. >However, Id prefer a closer location to the center. For the rest, I would recomend this hotel to anyone.

Stunning City!
Fantastic Location to go into central Cuenca and only 15 minutes on the bus to the picturesque old town! The views are amazing. Everything you need near the hotel.

Surprisingly high quality for the price.
This was an overnight stop to break a journey between the Costa del Sol and the Pyrenees. We chose the hotel based on earlier reviews and especially because of the ease of parking. It proved a very good choice as the everything was of a far higher quality than expected and spending an evening in the old town was easily arranged. The friendly reception called a taxi and gave us advice on what to visit in this impressive ancient city. The taxi cost less than 8 euros and took us to the cathedral door. All taxis seem to be radio controlled rather than hailed so we overcame our limited Spanish for the return trip in the evening by asking a local tapas bar to ring one for us. The room was large, modern, clean and well appointed and clearly aimed at business clientele. Those familiar with the Eurostars chain will recognise the style.

The non-smoking rule is not enforced very well. You could smell tabaco in the halls .

Exe Cuenca is close enough to the old city to not need a car. Take the Line 2 bus just in front of McDonald Fun House and it takes you directly to old city. We chose breakfast included, the choice and quality of the food are very very good. Beds were very comfortable. We had a room with view giving onto parking, garage & McDonald's. It is very noisy. Suggestion: ask for room away from that side.

Pleasant staff. Nice rooms. The hotel didn't do evening meal but there was a burger place near or you could order pizza. Breakfast good a lot of choice. We only stayed overnight but would stay again as easy react to Cuenca & old town. Easy parking. The only complaint we had was the view as it looked out on to burger place.

We really enjoyed this hotel. It is better suited for business travelers but it was modern, clean, and comfortable for us. The location is by McDonald’s and a gas station, but not noisy and only a taxi drive from the incredibly beautiful Old Town. It’s also only 5-10 minute drive from the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast (included with room) really good!

EXE Cuenca USA nice place. The rooms are laid out well and they are fully featured. I don’t like the fact that you have to un make the bed to go to bed but you have to remake it to keep the shyer on the mattress. The. You can cimb into bed. I’ve stayed here a lot lately and paying a little mor for the larger really ok also seems to include a nicer mattress, so worth it if you don’t want to feel the stings in your back. The breakfast is great I highly recommend including it inyour booking. Parking can be difficult but they do offer to aid parking in a garage under the hotel. It is very safe and usually 2/3 res empty.

Nice new hotel in odd location
Nice upscale hotel in commercial zone outside central Cuenca. Sits behind a McDonald's and a gas station, so no points for local scene. Easy access; parking around hotel free; garage for 10 Euros. New, sleek furnishings. Room large, comfortable; good bathroom. Nice breakfast.

It was definitely not worth the 4 star rating.
The hotel was descent, however it was far from a 4 Star Hotel. The external outlook, the hallways smelled of smoking even though we asked for a nonsmoking room.

We loved this hotel - it was really good value for the price we paid. It's next to Dia store and another commercial centre, plus a petrol station and McDonalds. Parking was free, so that's a huge bonus. And we asked for a room facing away from the road (there is a park on the other side of the hotel), so it was nice and quiet. The people at the reception were lovely too and explained (in English, without even being asked to:) how to get to Cuenca's old town the next day and where to park for free. The only complaint we had was the condition of the bed - it was making squeeking noise everytime we turned. New beds would definitely improve the comfort of guests.

Room was nice for the price.
The hotel is on the outskirts of Cuenca so getting to the old town is about a 4 KM drive away. There is plenty of free parking a block over in front of the school. There is also a mall close by with a large grocery store. Staff are helpful in terms of describing free parking both close to the hotel and in the old town. The location is not particularly nice and the hallways have a sewer smell and are worn out. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room, the cleanliness, the quiet and no smell in the room.

Cold breakfast. Not many choices. Great staff. Nice bathroom. The bathroom door can not be locked, just a glass door. McDonald just outside of the hotel, but open very late. Not many parking space available. Far from the old town.

Hotel was in good condition, service was good and room was large and very clean. Beginning to show a little bit of wear, but still in excellent condition and feels newer. Location is pretty bad for visiting the old part of the city, and location beside McDonalds and Gas Station right in the same parking lot is odd. However staff were good and room was comfortable and very clean.

Good clean and comfortable hotel. Unusual in that room service is provided by McDonalds and Telepizza, no restaurant at the hotel. McDonalds and a petrol station right outside and even though we were overlooking these there was no problem with noise. Hotel is right on the outskirts of town. There is a bus stop nearby and the fare for the half hour journey to the other side of town to the old part was only 1.05 euros.

Great Hotel, except for NO WiFi
The hotel was right next door to McDonalds and a service station and only a 25 minute walk into Centro. Plus there is a shopping centre just up the road. If you wanted to catch the bus into Centro or the Old Town, the bus stop was next to McDonalds. We had a good size room, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spotless and the hotel staff were very helpful. BUT for a 4 star hotel we expect the WiFi to be available which it wasn't. Apart from that the hotel was good.

At the edge of town
At the edge of town, several miles away, this Marriott is a lovely property but has attributes that make it more similar to an American motel. In addition to its location and its free parking, there is a McDonalds on the other side of the parking lot. This is both an advantage and a disadvantage: it means you can have an inexpensive breakfast, if you don’t want to pay for the one in the hotel, but it also means that crowds of young men are hanging out until the McDonalds closes, with all the attendant noise and bravado. Ask for a room that does not overlook the parking lot.

Excellent, clean, modern and good sized rooms. Slightly noisy location at night, adjacent to a petrol station and McDonald's drive through, but no problem if you keep the windows closed. Attentive service and great breakfast.

Great quality for the price however.....
The hotel is a long way from the tourist sights/old town. You have to catch a bus that in October came every hour and took about 45 minutes to get to the beautiful sights of Cuenca. Other than that the hotel was really great. Room was nice, clean, staff were kind. It is more of a business hotel than a tourist one. Wifi free in public area but not in room.
