Comfortable but lack of service
Room comfortable, breakfasts were good, microwave available. The room was not serviced, no empty rubbish, no towels replaced, no replenish coffee or milk, no replenishment of shower gel or shampoo. It was not alway easy to find somewhere to park.

Did the job.
Host was friendly & gave good advice re parking, & actually went out of his way for us at breakfast time when my daughter was too tired to get up after our long journey. However the property is dated & in need of some ‘TLC’, some of which would be simple & inexpensive but cosmetically make a difference. (new bed linen, fixing wobbly door handles, mugs that match) Fully appreciate that the building itself is not a new build & therefore has its own charm of uniqueness & character. Would I stay here again…. yes, It has a good location, off site parking couldn’t be closer (or cheaper), it was clean enough. If you want a generic ‘well known branded’ hotel room, or a swanky boutique hotel this isn’t for you.

Very pleasant area ,fair walk into town. Not many eating places around and I thought the town was a bit sad looking. Breakfast very nice and plenty of choice.

Comfortable and welcoming overnight stay.
College Guest House is quirky in interior design, in a nice way. The lady owner was very welcoming and relaxed. Our stay was easy, comfortable. We managed to find free parking in an nearby street. The breakfast was good.

Big room great place!
It was a great stay. Big room which was clean and had nice windows with shutters which we really liked. There was also a fan and fridge in the room which was really great! The bedding smelt nice and we were offered a change of towels if we so wished. The hosts were friendly and chatty. Would stay again. From the photographers!

I’ve stopped here twice and it’s been pleasant both times, everything needed for a comfortable stay. The one downside was it was a tad hot in the room on a couple of nights, but managed to get to sleep.

Poor value for money at £79 per night for one twin room. The en suite shower was tiny and the controls and bracket were dirty. Breakfast was very disappointing - just sandwiches wrapped in foil and a paper cup of tea or coffee, which we had to collect each morning and eat in our room - Coronavirus measures being the reason given. Good affordable stay
A comfortable double room with all facilities. The hotel is easy to find and there is lots of parking nearby. Due to covid breakfast is more of a takeaway, but still good. Walls are very thin, so could hear the people next door.

Well located hotel with ample cheap parking opposite. Room was spotless, internet signal was strong and fast. Walls very thin, could hear everything from adjoining rooms, even both sides of telephone conversation.

Comfortable stay with very good breakfast made with excellent local produce. Any little problems in the room was dealt with very promptly and efficiently. The situation of the hotel in Haverfordwest was ideal for my husband and I from the point of view of parking and visiting friends and walking through the town which was my husband's home town originally. This listed house has a lot of character and is a good place to travel from to visit this lovely part of the country.

Great value and good facilities
Pleasant hotel close to the centre of Haverfordwest, in the heart of Pembrokeshire. Good facilities like fridge in room and iron available. Very large room (Fanily Room). Communal lounge area. Good breakfast. Friendly host.

Higher quality guesthouse in central Pembrokeshire
Higher quality guesthouse, close to centre of Haverfordwest. Large, clean room with TV, tea/coffee-making, fridge and free wi-fi. Microwave and iron in common areas. Friendly hosts and good cooked breakfast.

Not far from the centre of town, easy check in & friendly staff. As it is a steep walk from town take a taxi from the railway station.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone The decor was very tired and outdated, the bath room was the most updated . The shower just trickled not all lights worked, the TV we had to find plugs for, the bed, pillows all needed to be replaced. I don’t know where the6 get their 4 star rating as mine would be a 2 . I felt that if there was a fire I would have struggled to get out. Overall experience was I was glad to get out of the hotel

Convenient guest house
It was only one night guest house was clean every thing we could ask for. A very comfortable bed, and a lovely shower. The gentleman who saw us in was friendly and helpful. We had a lovely breakfast. The house is a treasure trove of eclectic ornaments etc lots to look at. We lived in the town 28 years ago and were saddened to see how it had declined, but that was just our view nothing to do with the College House. We found a brilliant little old fashioned pub a few doors away from the guest house, it was such a friendly atmosphere.

GOOD VALUE CLOSE TO FACILITIES
Dog-friendly guest house. As we have a disability dog in training, we were also allowed to take her into the dining area for breakfast, although I understand that pets would not be allowed in there - another room is accessible, though. The owners were helpful about where to go. There was a comfortable lounge. There is no parking on site, but we were always able to get a free space on the street. The pictures etc. were rather eclectic, not to everyone's taste!

The owner was very welcoming and the breakfast was good but overall the hotel is a bit dated for my liking and the walls in the attic room was so thin I could hear all the conversation the next door lady was having on the mobile.

Unfortunately within minutes of being showed to my room I found that as the rooms had been manufactured and not original in terms of stud walls , the toilets were not properly plumbed in and had a pump fitted which carried lots of warnings as to what you could and could not put down the toilet as the unit cost £700 and you would be charged for any damage . While I have no problem with polite warnings I then found it a little disappointing that the pump made a loud noise every 20/30 minutes or so which did not make for a great nights sleep My other main complaint was the lack of insulation between the roooms , as stated before the walls were a simple stud partition and I could clearly hear the phone conversation in the next room - not only the participant in the next room but also the lady that was being called as well!!!! Breakfast was very pleasant and the place was clean and warm - just a great pity that the poor nights sleep spoiled the stay

Excellent service from the owner who made us all feel very welcome. The children especially enjoyed, as time was taken to show the children some of the various pets kept by the owner. Would definitely recommend this guest house and would stay again.

Very good.
Only draw back is that parking is over the road but fee is very inexpensive. Otherwise excellent accommodation, food and friendliness. But room was on top floor - no lift - not suitable for disabled or elderly.
