« Reality check! All comments before us were 4 and 5 stars but it’s not…it’s a 3 stars. Maybe once upon a time in the west it was a 5 stars but ain’t anymore but still have potential to be a 5 stars. This cottage is located in the rich countryside of Ocala so if you’re looking for an experience on a real ranch, this isn’t the place. Max one of the owners on site is friendly, they have two friendly dogs also . We did appreciate our stay but…gotta admit that it was a little bit boring after 4 days....

« This was by far a most excellent place to spend two wonderful days/nights at! Peaceful and quiet and beautiful views of the horses and surrounding landscape! All the little special touches were awesome! Day one we went zip lining and day two horseback riding nearby. Just wonderful to come back to such a tranquil and serene place to wind down the day and just plain relax! The farm stand was so cute and thoughtful. « We stayed during an evacuation from hurricane Milton. It was a little hard to find due to our GPS issue but we were able to navigate on our own. Our first impression was the tranquility of the property. The cottage was very clean & our host had turned on the a/c so it was very comfortable. « The cabin was perfect and exactly what we needed. The lake was everything we hoped for. We kayaked, fished, swam and reconnected. The water is clear. The WiFi works well within the cabin and porch area. Make sure to map your way out before leaving. There is a store about three miles away just in case you forgot anything . The host was kind and helpful. Can’t say enough good things about Ed and Wanda. I definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway as a couple or a family. »

« Our stay at this precious cottage was exactly what we needed after traveling and festivities at college graduation. The decor was obviously carefully curated by the owners with impeccable antiques as well as one of a kind crafted pieces.
