We stayed one night in a King Studio room on the top floor of apartment 14. The room was massive, clean, and comfortable. The eggshell bath was very relaxing and the view over the water was gorgeous. The room had everything we needed including a fridge and tea/coffee facilities. We also used one of their infant cots which was great. The location is beautiful and peaceful, only a short 8min drive to Cromwell which has lots of dining options. We loved our stay and would highly recommend Marsden Lake Resort.

This location was great and easy to get to. Watched the sun rise over the mountains in the morning and the accomidations were very spacious, clean and easy to navigate.

We, as a family stayed in a triple standard room. We were on an upper level with a balcony and great views. The room was a good size for the 4 of us and the bathroom was great. It was handy to have a TV, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle in the room too. Good storage in the wardrobe also. The onsite restaurant was good with dine in or take away options. The staff were friendly and check in and check out was easy! It was a very nice, quiet place to stay. We will definitely stay here again!

This was a very nicely upgraded property. Heated floors in the bathroom, heated beds! Plus they had laundry facilities- a huge bonus for those of us who have been traveling awhile.

Fantastic stay here.. Absolutely recommend. Lovely suite with the huge sliding doors out onto the deck. One star removed for the sofas being a bit grubby in places (didn’t stop a great snooze on them though!) and it is a bit isolated- only six minutes to Cromwell but you need to plan your stay to avoid trips into town. A BBQ on the deck would be amazing.communication was excellent- shout out to Harriet for arranging an extra night.

Fabulous stay here and highly recommend it. Great value on price by Expedia. Our ground floor suite was stunning with huge sliding doors opening out on to a massive deck. The view of the Pisa mountain range was great. We were grateful for the air con. The kitchen is well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Nice TVs. Great shower. Good communication from the property, especially Harriet. Only one piece of minor criticism: the sofas are showing their age. I’d stay here any time.

This is a nice stay for us. The only thing I would say is that if you have a lot of luggage, there is no lift to the upstairs room, you have to carry all your luggage upstairs which can be a bit inconvenience.

We loved this resort! It was lovely to be right on the water. We had to drive quite a distance for breakfast the following day as there are limited cafes in the area and we chose not to eat at the resort dining room due to high costs. The facility was clean, comfortable, with beautiful views over the lake. We would definitely come back again.

Too far from queenstown city 60kms away House keep is very bad they didn't change towels rather just clean bedsheets Only subway and 1 indian restaurant and nothing available..New World is very mucb accessible

We really liked this property, clean, quiet and great views. Just a couple of comments, the room air conditioning was not working consistently, also would like to see a little more spread in the menu for breakfast options. But overall we had an awesome stay here!

Nice couple of days
We had a lovely couple of nights in this hotel. Very comfortable room, great WiFi, laundry facilities and kitchenette. Instead of such a huge bathroom, it would have made more sense to have q bigger living area with a dining table. Desk space was on but so high up and uncomfortable. Nice balcony overlooking a lake. You don't have much privacy as you're right above other flats.

Bring your boat and stay for a week
This clearly was a five-stay resort in the past. All it really needs to get there again is a paint job and some repairs of damage from rowdy customers. It is still a wonderful place to stay. Spacious rooms, lake access, quiet environment, yet just 15 minutes from town.
