Family friendly with a fire pit, covered porch, pellet grill and close encounters with wildlife. Close to the beach with a great community within Walker Valley. We have celebrated my birthday weekend at this little piece of heaven for two years in a row! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. The check in process is super easy. Communication with the owner was great. The cabin is kind of hidden and tucked away which is great for privacy and sitting on the porch enjoying the wildlife. The smoker on the covered porch is a nice touch, in case of rain, youre covered. The backyard has a nice firepit. The neighborhood is friendly and the river is just a short walk away. My husband and I and our teenager stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. Owner was very responsive. Entry into the cabin was easy. Located a 5-10 minute walk to a very small community private beach. We are glad we arrived during the day because the area has some gravel roads and the first time finding the cabin can be a little tricky but the owner provided a map which was helpful.
