"We found out on arrival that the place we’d booked had had a sewage issue so our host had scrambled to find us somewhere else. While we really appreciated that effort and the fact she met us at the ferry so late, the new place wasn’t great. No wifi, no nearby parking and very dusty. We were told it was available for one less day then we’d booked so we said we’d leave a day early rather than her having to find us somewhere else which worked out fine but meant we paid for accommodation for that...

"This was the the first time I came to Dugi otok this time of the year (late March). We have chosen two houses (Aunt Regina House and Grandpa Mate House) in Dragove as a starting point for a bicycle tour to the Veli Rat Lighthouse on Saturday and to Lake Mir and Telaščica Bay on Sunday. The houses are situated at the top of the hill and offer a phenomenal view of the sea and the islands. "One of our favourite hotel stays in recent years. Great location, super friendly staff and lovely rooms. The bar and restaurant were both very good as well. They say the true test of hospitality is when something goes wrong, well, the one small problem we had with a leaking A/C unit was fixed within five minutes, with both Maintenance and House Keeping attending to fix and clean up. Amazing! Other hotels could learn from this. We will definitely be going back. "

"Good base for 1 night stay in Hvar, if staying longer looked like it has a nice swimming pool area and bar. Breakfast was well stocked and varied. Really liked that the hotel took your cases back down to the ferry marina at the end of your stay. Wish they'd of communicated this before arriving as was a lot of steps to be pulling luggage up on arrival as hotel is at the top of the hill out of the way."
