There is something magical as you step out of your car while you arrive there. We haven't been able to put our finger on exactly what it is, but we do know it might be a mixture of things. The feeling of being surrounded by nature... the peace and quiet, the birds, the fresh air, and the uniqueness of the cabin are all things that contribute. We hope you love it as much as us. Pets: ✔️ We want you to bring your furry companions and we are happy to have them. With that being said, we limit it to 2 animals per stay, and only dogs or cats. We ask that you clean up after their droppings by disposing of them properly and also cleaning up after them in the cabin. If this is not respected, extra fees will be given after our cleaner goes through. We know you'll respect the area with your pets just like you would you own home! So make yourself at home with your furry friends as well! Guest Access: You have full reign of the whole property. The shed and bathroom closet are locked due to personal storage. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: We love the north woods, but this is just a reminder to you that it IS the north woods. So here are a few things to know before you book your stay! If you come across insects, mosquitoes, bugs, or mice, this happens. We do our very best to make sure to control all of this, but sometimes it out of our control. Bring some bug spray and a love for the outdoors, and you will love your stay! Also, the cabin is set on a crawl space, meaning that the cabin itself has an outdoors earthy smell. There is nothing wrong with the cabin, and we do our very best to use things like damp rid to lessen the smell. We have no issues with it, but we want to make sure guests know this before booking! Lastly, we use a well at the cabin and the water where the cabin is set has iron in it. With that being said, you may see a yellow color in the water or the toilet. We have had it inspected and it's fine, but as a service to our guests, we provide a water dispenser with filtered water so that you feel better drinking the water. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out! The cabin was very clean and the beds comfortable. Our lab enjoyed exploring the yard and we enjoyed a bonfire, while grilling steaks. Nice and close to town. The location couldn't have been better. Nice little fire ring outside with a propane grill for steaks from the local meat market (recommend). It’s not a fancy place but perfect for a small get away with the kids. Close to lake Noquebay for fishing, water sports, and park for the kids. We will consider for another stay for sure! Hosts were super accommodating and responsive! ##### Devin A. This is a really great cozy cabin, It has a nice layout, and very clean and updated inside. It is in the woods, and near many activities in the Crivitz area. The beds and furniture were comfortable. Great communication with the host. We enjoyed the location as it was countyside but close to amenities in town. However, we were not able to go outside due to the spongy moth infestation. The water was fine to drink but the smell from using the water, especially in the bathroom, was overwhelming. ##### Ann R. The living room is quite large and we liked the warmth of the carpet which lead into the master bedroom. With a warmer than usual Christmas season, I was comfortable having an outdoor fire on 12/23/23! The wooded lot is quiet, yet the grocery store is only 1/2 mile away. Wonderful! ##### Kathy B. It is a wooded retreat that is quiet and secluded yet close to Crivitz if you need anything. I was able to have coffee in the morning while deer grazed on the grasses around me. At night, a bonfire gave off a natural glow on the trees around me of yellows and oranges. This getaway allowed me to recharge, regroup and re-energize. I will be coming back.
