It is exactly as pictured - clean, comfortable and spacious. The outside seating is a great addition as well. The host’s had an amazing welcome for us as well - some of the tastiest cupcakes and a huge bowl of snacks -truly appreciated after a long drive. The house is well stocked from the kitchen to the bedrooms and baths plus the laundry room. I feel like most houses now barely have TP and Jess had multiple detergent types for us. It had everything you would need for a short getaway. I highly recommend to those that want a little seclusion yet close enough for a day at the coast. \~52 minute drive. We went to Nags Head for one day, you're about 8 miles to Hwy 64, then 64 all the way to the coast. It has a grill and firepit outside, with everything you need to grill your favorite meats. Youre right down the road from the park ranger's office and walkway to the lake. I walked there and back for exercise every morning. Phelps Lake is in front of the house, across the street and very short walk through the trees. You can see the lake through the trees.
