The hotel was clean but the towels were stained. There was no coffee maker in our room. You had to pay to get ice. When we checked out at 5am the front door to the lobby was locked. I knocked and a man who was not there when I checked in and didn't know me barely opened the door. I told him I wanted to check out. He reached his arm through the very small opening of the door as he held the door tight with his other hand and took my room key. He did not let me in. I asked if there was anything I needed to do he said no. Very weird!!!
Loved our stay at this hotel. Great staff! Great breakfast! Room was very big! 30 min from beach but we loved that bc it was away from all the hustle of tourists. It was quiet and we had the pool to ourselves, which was great! Breakfast staff very friendly and even made our daughter mini pancakes which she loved! Very clean, quiet and safe !
Crestview has the distinction of being one of Florida's highest points at 235 feet above sea level. The southern tip of the city shares a border with Eglin Air Force Base. The Old Spanish Trail Festival takes place in late April to honor a historical trade route which now parallels the current CSX railroad. Head west of town to explore the Blackwater River State Forest.
