Views to Town! Rare indeed is the vacation rental in Crested Butte that is located on a river and takes in views of the entire valley! Looking out to the town of Crested Butte and up Paradise Divide, all while situated on the banks of the Slate River is a special home we call River Haven. Located only 2 miles from the town of Crested Butte in the exclusive Skyland Country Club this property is sure to impress. Close enough for a bike ride into town during the Summer and only minutes to the ski resort in the Winter. If you're a fisherman, then grab your fly rod and walk down to the Slate River behind the home for some relaxing trout fishing. Pulling into this property you can't help but notice the jaw dropping views. The house was positioned to overlook the river with town in the background, and whether watching eagles hunt for trout on the Slate River, enjoying the lights of town at night, or catching the perfect sunset from the deck, the views are all encompassing. Step inside this light filled home and get ready to relax. On the main living level, you will find the great room. The living room with picture windows, vaulted ceilings, and gas fireplace is a great place to unwind at the end of the day or enjoy that first cup of coffee in the morning. The open dining area and gourmet kitchen are a joy come mealtime and there's room for all the chefs in the family. If you need to catch up on work while here in paradise, there is a desk area at the back of the kitchen with plenty of space. Off the dining area and behind the kitchen is a powder bath and access to the outdoor deck with gas grill. Back inside across the living area you will find the master suite and it is spectacular. The king bed with luxury linens takes in the fantastic river views and there's even a private gas fireplace and deck. The ensuite master bath is fit for a king with the oversized shower and large soaking tub which has its own picture window views. Take a walk up the staircase in the master bedroom to find an additional living space with TV area, game table, and a twin bed with trundle for the kids. This suite is its own retreat and then some! Should you need to do laundry, the laundry room is accessed from the entry hall or through the master walk-in closet. Downstairs you will find the mudroom entrance from the heated garage with custom cabinetry and cubbies for all your gear. At the end of the hall is the junior master suite with king bed and access to the outdoor patio overlooking the river. There is an ensuite bath with dual vanities and oversized shower. Down the hall is a queen bedroom with an iron 4 poster bed and a bunk room with custom built-in twin bunks. These two bedrooms share a full bath just outside in the hallway. Normally we wouldn't stay at the same place twice but we both felt like we couldn't find anything better. This is such a beautiful home. From its perfect location, a mile and a half from town in a very upscale neighborhood with awesome views and on a river to boot. Its furnishings are incredible and all look brand new. There is not one thing lacking as far as amenities within this home. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay on your next Crested Butte vacation, you found it.
