The home was older yes, but you can see its cared for. Its so very homey and well furnished. Perfect location if you just want to explore the river and lake, central to several natural springs. Full kitchen was great. Calm quiet and peaceful, was perfect place for us to bring the boat from indiana and spend the week with our grandmother. Property is well taken care of and would absolutely stay again if the opportunity is there. Thank you so much for the hospitality and doing even small things like bringin us firewood to use on the super cool smokless firepit. It is a rare gem for sure. My husband and I stayed with his cousin and a group of friends and we rented both houses. It was very private and secluded and there were many things to do. Our favorite was checking the crab traps every morning. The house was very large and accommodating and the beds were so comfortable. We brought our motorcycles so all of the wide open space was perfect for parking trailers and all of the vehicles. George and Lacy were wonderful and quick to respond to any of our needs. Its very peaceful and private. It’s a long dirt driveway through the forest to to the houses but once you’re there, it’s worth it. We enjoyed spending time out on the dock for sunsets. The house is older than we normally get but it reminded me of my grandparents house on George’s lake so very nostalgic. It was very nice and for 10 of us, there was plenty of room. We had 2 boats that were a little tricky to tie up but i think he is getting the lifts fixed. The owner is very professional, polite and responded very quickly to all of my questions. Mr. Lacy is the land manager that met me at the house and was a pleasure to meet. Helped us out with anything we needed. We plan on making this an annual thing and maybe invite more family to rent the other unit. For the price, you cant beat it. ##### Will H.
