The landscaping and river views are beautiful, and the house has everything you need to be a home base for seeing the Redwoods. Some of the best hikes in the Redwoods State and National Parks are just up the road. Host was very responsive. 100% would recommend to friends and family! ##### Kara S. Also there were wonderful swimming spots nearby. There were 9 of us and plenty of bedrooms and beds. One night we used the fire pit to make s’mores. We also had a good time playing pool in the evenings. The kitchen was well stocked. WiFi was good as everyone had at least one device and we didn’t have any problems. There was a good selection of DVD’s and games. Overall our family really liked the house and location. ##### Karen C. The location was perfect to visit many Redwood forest hikes, Oregon Coast beaches, the Battery Point Lighthouse, and many other areas. A week was the perfect length of time to take everyone to an area of the country that most have not visited, making the trip a huge success for everyone. Plenty of bedrooms, great common areas & beautiful view out the back of the property! The location was a bit tricky, but follow the guidance given to locate the driveway to the property. It would have been nice to have access to the Smith River from the back of the property. Was very impressed also with the great communication with the host and ease of check in and check out. Had a lot of fun playing pool, dining at the large table, enjoying the beautiful view and listening to the sounds of the river. Location is beautiful and private and being able to bring our fur babies with us is always #1\. We had everything that we needed there excluding 2 bbqs for grilling. There are 4 comfortable bedrooms with queen sized beds (3 overlooking the river) and one bunk room with 4 twin beds, two large dining areas, and a comfortable family room with a warm fireplace. We had a great weekend at the house with 6 kids and 6 adults since it was pouring rain outside and miserably cold (typical for a March weekend). Plenty of room for everyone and great kitchen and dining area for family meals. The solarium with the pool table was so fun! The river access is pretty steep but the river is absolutely beautiful.
