The wood stove fireplace is cozy, the sunsets are breathtaking and you may even see a whale! Gray Whales pass by during their migration and Pilot Whales live in the area year-round! The nearest beach access is just a block away. There is an access road that leads down to Preston Island. This is a rocky beach for the most part but there are sandy stretches for a pleasant walk with your pet (which we are happy to host!). It was spring so not too warm yet but the porch is so protected we were just fine spending time out there. In fact we ate out there every night. The wood stove kept it very cozy. The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed.
