A easy location to get to - costs about 12 pounds in taxi from Gatwick airport. I stayed there for the night and then went in to london for a early morning meeting. Train station 1 min walk away and trains frequent. Hotel, very clean and in good condition. Staff friendly. Would stay there again definitely.
Perhaps not the nicest hotel I've stayed in but for the price can't grumble. If you want luxury you're gonna have to pay a bit more but for somewhere just to lay your head for the night its ok. Parking was a bit crazy, I got lucky and found a spot straight away but for many it seemed to be an issue. Overall don't set your sights to high and you'll be fine, after all, you get what you pay for.
We chose to stay at this Hotel due to its location near to Three Bridges Railway Station due to us arriving by train. We visited Pevensey Castle and later went to Eastbourne for a couple of hours (I work for Govia Thameslink so get free rail travel in this part of England)
This is a barely adequate CP hotel having just stayed in the CP at Madrid the previous evening. It is is need of a total refurbishment and the odd lick of paint and really strange decor with mismatched furniture and garish carpets on the ground floor don't help. Upstairs the carpets are really worn and the room that we had must have been the smallest on any inventory. Having asked for a room close to the lifts because of our mobility problem, it was the furthest away that it was possible to find. The car park is still completely insecure - after at least a year and the noise level of the piped music at breakfast required you to shout to be heard staff
Stayed four nights. We took a day trip to London, very easy taxi to Gatwick airport, then the train to Victoria Station. Nice hotel Super staff, went out of there way to help. I Left the parking lights on the rental car, killed the battery, Staff had it jumped in less than 10 minutes. No charge. Would stay again. WiFi free.
The room was in need of some updating, but on the whole comfortable. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent value for money and very well cooked. The breakfast was one of the best I have had in a hotel. The staff were exceptional, very helpful and went out of their way to please. The cleanliness in the hotel could have been better as it seemed that only the places that could be seen were wiped over. The internet and mobile phone signal were non-existent except in the bar/dining room. The hotel was down a narrow dark lane, so a bit daunting to drive to at night. Because of its location though, the hotel was very quiet and ideal if you wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of a town.
Crawley is in West Sussex, and a main center of industry and employment approximately midway between London and England's south coast. England's second-largest airport, Gatwick, is located north of town.
