This was our fourth visit to Cozumel and we decided to try an all-inclusive. The grounds and cottages were very attractive. The food was quite good, although we found we could not get into the specialty restaurants every night. We enjoyed the various resident birds and the swaying bamboo. The nightly entertainment was good. Unfortunately, smoking is prevalent in the public spaces and we had to move out of the way of smoke in the lobby and on the beach almost daily. The hotel advertises excellent snorkel opportunities right off the beach/pier. The water was not very clear and there were very few fish to see. We were disappointed with our accommodations. The room was quite small. The beds were soft and well past their prime. The thermostat was difficult to regulate even after we had it serviced. It took two calls for service to get the hot water working in the shower. The hotel is also a 20 minute, $40. round trip cab ride into town. So we picked the wrong hotel this time.
