Enjoy this rare view that few other places can offer you. Please check out the pictures of our rooftop Palapa, filled with amazing ways to entertain and relax. This rooftop is shared with only the 1st and 2nd floors. Located near beautiful Chankanaab Park on the West Shore of the Island and just 10 minutes from the Town of San Miguel is CASA Vista del Mar in the condominium complex called 'COZUMEL PARADISE'. See our other listings at VRBO #73642 & #150035\. Each Condo can have up to seven guests, or host a 'party for 14' by booking the ENTIRE BUILDING! This is one of the most special units in the complex, it is located directly on the waterfront and no other buildings or obstructions block your prime view of the Ocean. It is less than 150 feet from the water's edge! Each unit has a spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom layout that also includes a fully equipped kitchen, living area, and an easily accessible patio with table and chairs. Spectacular views and beautiful sunsets from the living area, master bedroom, and balcony. Panoramas from the private rooftop are unbelievable. Bring a good book and relax or bring your binoculars and watch the dive boats and cruise ships glide by. The direct beachfront has some of the best snorkeling in Cozumel. Scuba diving can be arranged through many dive shops to pick you up at our beach! Maid service is three times a week and a washer & dryer is supplied for your use. A private cook, babysitter, and many activities are available at an additional charge through our local representative. A $500.00 deposit will secure your dates immediately. This deposit is refundable at the conclusion of your trip. This was our second time with Hippy Bob & Diane, previously we used the 3rd floor unit.Check in is a breeze with the local manager communicating in advance and sending PDF brochures of the unit and area. The condos are spacious and well appointed. The washer & dryer are a bonus to packing lightly for travel. The location is close enough to town for trips in to dinner (after the cruise ships have left!) and groceries. There are 2 beach clubs on either side of the condos that serve food during the day. They do play loud music, but they are not open for dinner so evenings are quiet.We went to the island for the snorkeling and diving. Dive boats can pick you up at the Tortugas pier if you eat or pay a small fee. Snorkeling during the day in the buoys you will see lots of fish but not much coral. The location with a beach area and decent snorkeling out front was wonderful and made it so we could just stay put and relax on site if we wanted. We enjoyed the resorts on each side for activities and eats and drinks. This unit was very clean and maintained daily by staff. The occupants around us were all very enjoyable. We would rent a car or motorcycle next time just because taxis aren’t consistent with prices but are mostly readily available if need one. Also enjoyed cooking on site and would get to grocery store sooner since resorts close by 5pm and not much for food in this area once they are closed. Our only issue was with the way the condo was advertised. We were in Cozumel for my daughter’s wedding. We were deciding between several condos in the area, and Hippie Bob’s stood out because of the rooftop “party palapa.” It was advertised as a great space for family gatherings for things like family reunions and weddings. Well, turns out, you can only “gather” 7 people. Which is exactly the number of people who can stay in the condo. The rooftop palapa is very awesome. And completely worthless for what we were expecting it to be. We weren’t going to have some raging party. We simply wanted to have 15-20 of our family members over for drinks/chips and guac for a couple of hours since they had traveled to the wedding, and it is easily big enough for that. And don’t get me wrong, I totally understand when hosts don’t want a bunch of extra people at the property. I was just so excited that this one WOULD purportedly allow it. Which is exactly what tipped the scales in Hippie Bob’s favor when we were deciding which place to choose. To be fair, Damien did tell us that we could only have 7 people, but it was only AFTER I messaged him to reserve the palapa, not thinking it would be a problem at all. So, enjoy the condo—it is quite lovely and clean. And enjoy the palapa with the folks you are staying. Just don’t expect to use it for more than that. It is nice having the bars, restaurants, and activities right next door. They do close early evening so it is quiet at night.Damian, the property manager is excellent - responds fast and goes above and beyond (Vanessa the housekeeper is also a gem). The only reason I did not rate this a 5 is because the interior could use updating and although there are plenty of places to have a meal or play cards, there really is not a comfortable place inside or outside to lounge around and chit chat. The swinging bed is amazing but it's only for1 or maybe 2 people. ##### Sammie S. We will be back. Clean, well appointed, comfortable, beachfront ocean and pool access. The manager assisted in coordinating a seamless check in and check out. Had one problem getting TV to show USStations and manager was there within 5 minutes and helped sort out our technology needs. Enjoy. You won’t regret staying ##### Fred M. This property was stunning and we very much appreciate the stained glass bird window in the main bedroom, as well as the mural painted on the patio. Plus was we could take a snorkel tour right from Tortuga's pier next door. Super friendly guests and host, Damien always available to answer questions. Rocky beach area. Damian was amazing, responding immediately to my questions, going above and beyond by providing lots of additional information. Incredible sunsets. Steps from the beach. The only disappointment was the snorkeling out front. Lots of reviews said how amazing it was. We were not impressed. Other than that, we had a great time. ##### Andy B. The condo has excellent views and many good features. The fact that the property manager was always available and personable was a plus (Go Damien). The condo was supplied with an abundance of towels, large showers, and comfortable bedding, super cool door locking system and a/c units that knew when you were in a room or not. I must add that this complex does not have exactly what I would call a walk in beach area, It is very rocky. I believe this is most likely true of most Cozumel properties. Bring your own snorkel equipment as we couldn't find a place to rent any. The kitchen in this unit photographs well but in reality is too tight but very functional. The condo was perfect for us with three bedrooms and AC everywhere. The kitchen and living room are very comfortable and the ocean view is spectacular. There is a private cabana for just a couple of units on top of the building that is awesome. Our dive company picked us up and dropped us off at the beach in front of the unit every day. The property manager was amazing—friendly, responsive, and always available. We will be back! ##### Bob W. Damien was very helpful with every little question, we couldn’t have asked for more.
