The property and the staff were great, but the ACin the room was not working properly and it was very noisy, also in the formal restaurant the same issue no AC, if this simple but key things are fixed , I would come back for sure

I paid for a three-night reservation but only stayed for less than a day (July 6, 2024). The worst hotel experience I have ever had!!! Dirty rooms (molded, rusted bathroom). worn out, caved-in mattress, beach closed packed with DRY sargassum (days of accumulation), swimming pool discussing (green scummy water with debris inside the pool, the buffet recycled the same soggy vegetables served for lunch during dinner with ZERO main protein dish...They ran out of meat with almost no guests in the hotel. The condition of the premises is deplorable. I demand a refund! The front desk dismissed my complaint with a "sorry, we don't have control over natural disasters!! (Since Hurracine Beryl occurred two days before but there was no damage to the property at all!) The few hotel guests were also complaining about the situation but the hotel staff did NOTHING to alleviate the situation!!!.

The beach was beautiful, not crowded so it’s very relaxing. The food was typical buffet food but nothing to complain about it’s what I would’ve expected. We had to leave very early into our trip due to hurricane beryl but the staff was very helpful.

This was our second time visiting this resort. Great beach and awesome service. The food was good and the drinks were OK, but it was all included. Unfortunately, hurricane Beryl cut our vacation short. The staff moved all guests into the convention center, where all sun lounging chairs were set up for us to sleep through the storm. All staff was available the entire night and made sure we were safe and comfortable at all times. The next morning the staff made sure the building was safe and clear of debris. They did an awesome job at ensuring we were OK and helped us get to the airport on time since no taxis were available that morning. Awesome customer service! Can't wait to return.

Poor communication leading up to the hurricane. All activities shut down Wednesday morning, July 3rd,2024. Difficult to get staff to provide services such as food and drink orders. Felt like we were a nuisance to staff. Will not recommend or return. We moved to Hotel Casa Mexicana on July 4th even though we were paid through July 5th at El Cozumeleno. Their rooms were nicer, cleaner and better communication. Made us fell welcomed and were attentive to our needs.

El Cozumeleno is a great family resort. The staff went above and beyond to take care of anything we needed. The beach is the best around. Great snorkeling!

El lugar es bonito, la comida y el servicio es bueno, me encantó que tuviera una playa privada que está una distancia fortísima del hotel y el acceso es muy fácil especialmente para mi que estoy lastimada de una pierna, en la playa puedes hacer el snorkeling y es hermoso ver a los peces , el cuarto es espacioso, limpio pero lo que si no me gusto es que por todo te quieren pedir depósito con tarjeta de crédito hasta para pedir toallas para la alberca, y el capitán del restaurante de especialidades la verdad se me hizo muy grosero y prepotente pero de ahí en fuera todo bien.

The staff was excellent. Carlos, Roberto, Randy, Leonardo, and others went the extra to make sure things were good. The bed was awful. I think it was original bed when place first opened…very bad. Birds kept flying into to buffet area and landing in food service area and eating because doors were left open and food wasn’t always covered. We had food on our table, turned our back for a second and birds started eating our food. We started ordering from the menu. The snorkeling area was fantastic. We would have enjoyed music playing around pool area. In the evening, it would be very quiet with nothing to do. This was not my first or second stay at El Coz but will be my last.

Quite disappointing. Building has not been maintained. The pool water was murky and not inviting. The netting over the closed outside eating area needs to be repaired/replaced to keep the black crows from eating off the buffet, the customers forks and tables as they eat. The beds were very uncomfortable and appeared to be at least 30 years old. The property condition was not the fault of the cleaning crew. It was lack of maintenance by ownership. Everybody we dealt with was kind and friendly. Thanks

We were so excited to arrive to this beautiful, authentic, and welcoming resort. This was our first time visiting, everyone was very friendly. Our room was perfect hot water, cool temps, fresh sheets. HUGE SHOUT OUT to Paulino and Randy. Leaving this great resort was heartbreaking as these two took such great care of us!! I never once felt pressured to tip anyone and they were over the moon grateful when we did! The staff went over and beyond to ensure our comfortability and to accommodate us. Our family has frequently visited resorts in Cabo and have never received such friendly services. We will definitely be revisiting in the future!
