Ah, the beautiful Caribbean! Just sit back on the terrace and watch the boats go by, or layout on the beach, pretend to read, and actually nod off to sleep. Then enjoy swimming in the gorgeous infinity pool, which overlooks the brilliant blue ocean, or maybe choose to snorkel from your dock or even go scuba diving in the matchless Cozumel reefs. There is nothing like Cozumel and it's all yours. Our Vista Azul Condo is located perfectly! It sits on the westward side of Cozumel Island and on the south end of Cozumel’s main town of San Miguel. What that means for you is that you can just walk across the street for groceries if you like or amble into town for some of the best cuisines in Mexico. Our condo is part of the only 5-Star exclusive, luxury oceanfront resort condominium complex in Cozumel. It features the largest living room in the resort. It also features 3 bedroom suites, each with its own ensuite private bath. It offers a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, a spacious, fully furnished dining and living room, and an unparalleled terrace boasting a priceless view. El Cantil is has a sophisticated water refinement system that delivers fresh, soft water to the condo. In addition, our condo has a 6 stage reverse osmosis system with an alkaline water drinking system at the kitchen sink, which offers amazing drinking water. Rest assured that the system is serviced regularly. You can enjoy our own resort beach and salt-water grotto. There is also an outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off diving and snorkel gear, as well as a ladder that will take you down to the ocean easily to snorkel or swim. You can also go adventuring: scuba boats can pick you up at our own private dock; you can visit Mayan ruins, take jungle tours, ride 4-wheel ATVs, go bonefishing or catch blue marlin and all the great sportfish in between. You can explore Cozumel’s world-renown coral reef and marine park. Rent a Jeep or open-air VW and explore the undeveloped rustic eastern side of the island or the long, sandy beaches on the south side. Activities include fine dining, scuba diving, local shopping, parasailing, kayaking, boating, deep-sea fishing, ATV and scootering, (Harleys are available for rent as well), bicycling and nearby championship golf. Vista Azul is on the fourth floor, which means that your ocean view of the Caribbean from the balcony is unobstructed, yet it is still easy to get to the crystal clear water of the Caribbean or the large infinity heated pool by elevator or stairs. We have 24-hour security and tip-top service- anything you need; optional maid service and laundry service are available at your convenience. Our property service manager, Laura, will take personal care of whatever you need. This is a quiet building, occupied mostly by owners, many of whom do not even live in Cozumel. This means the beach and pool areas have few other people - it's almost like your very own. Local town people do not have access to your private beach and pool. The master bedroom and 2nd bedroom have a spectacular waterfront view. They have wall-to-wall floor-to-ceiling high windows. Each room offers private access to the terrace. Ed and Laura were a great team and communication was excellent. The location was ideal, with one grocery store across the street and another store within a 5 minute walk. The city center, with all of the available restaurants, was accessible within a 10-15 minute walk. We went scuba diving with Aldora, and they picked us up at the El Cantil dock, making the process very easy. Roberto was our divemaster for several of the dives. I wanted to spend all my time on the balcony. The condo is well equipped and comfortable. Location is key - having the grocery store across the street and downtown walkable was so convenient. The dive shops we booked with unfortunately did not pick up from the El Cantil dock, however it was a 10 cab ride which was no problem - always easy to get a taxi. I took walks every morning and our group was out at night and always felt safe. Ed and Laura answered all questions. Laura arranged for balcony massages and they were amazing. Having the pool, hot tub, and ocean just outside was a huge selling point for us. I enjoyed the morning sun cutting between the two condo buildings to the pool. No issues with WiFi, plenty of towels. The island did not disappoint nor did our wonderful accommodations at El Cantil! Prior to our visit, our host Ed Ohayon was so gracious in helping us with everything from great restaurant recommendations, to helping us with various questions we had prior to our arrival. We also loved that we were in the best hands with Laura, the property manager. She was extremely helpful and made sure that anything we needed or any questions we had were taken care of immediately. A huge thank you to both Ed and Laura! We can't wait to return as after many years away from Cozumel, we have found a great "home" to go back to again! ##### Barbara D. The kitchen was spotless and well-maintained, and the security staff downstairs was incredibly friendly and helpful. The snorkeling right in front of the condo was amazing—we even saw a lionfish and a spotted eel just steps from the building! The location, comfort, and overall experience were outstanding.
