"Older", but very clean and well kept. Great central pool, which is fantastic for our toddler who is learning to swim! The food was pretty good, we ate at the buffet for breakfast, beach club for lunch, and had room service at night. The coolest feature is the private beach club. There's a tunnel that connects the main property to to the beach, which was very cool! Plenty of Adirondack chair, lounges and hammocks, crystal clear water (watch the craps and sea urchins), and perfect sunset views. I first came here 30 years ago, and they have really "upped their game", with a beautiful and large beach area, a great breakfast overlooking the ocean, and entertainment every night. The food is nothing to get excited about. The mexican night was the best food and entertainment night of the week. I miss the days you could order food pool side chair. We only did yhe breakfast and not yhe all inclusive and the breakfast was mediocre at best. Its nice that Dive Paradise now has their main shop at the hotel with lockers and 2 rinse tanks. It was a great hotel with amazing beach and access to a clear ocean view of fish. You could snorkel and swim from the hotel property. The easy access to pier which allowed my fishing charter to pick me up right from pier. Super easy. I like the location, and the service was very good.
