« The Bird House was our overflow lodging when our extended family came home to Winfield for Christmas. It was perfect for the needs of a family of four including a one-year-old and a three-year-old. The rooms are large and impeccably clean and they were able to have the baby sleeping in one room while the toddler played in another! Although I didn't stay in the house myself, I was delighted by the fun Christmas decor, and the screened-in porch would be perfect for morning coffee during warmer...

« Mr Rolando was excellent with communication! Had an issue with VRBO sending mixed messages on whether or not payment was received. He was patient with me & my concerns. When we got there, my friend needed the WiFi password to get some work done on his laptop. One text to Rolando & I had the password & an offer to use a laptop & printer @ the property if needed?!The cons: the floor in the kitchen leans towards the sink & the fridge leans due to this. It is an older house on a crawl space so it...

« The rooms were very clean. We really liked the open space. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner. We liked the location of the bnb a lot. There were plenty of shops in Derby to visit and if we wanted to go to any shops in Wichita it was only a 15 to 20 minute drive. We also liked that the bnb was in what seemed to be a safe and calm part of town. »

« Excellent stay, the house was wonderful and the host was great, the AC unit had an issue after the city lost power and she was very quick to make sure it was repaired, the house was perfect for everyone, the loft was great for the kids with two twin beds, and the two other bedrooms were nice with king sized beds, the location and distance to necessities made it easy for the kids to walk to buy snacks and drinks at the Caseys while the Walmart was only a bit farther at a minute or two drive...

« Cozy and comfortable home for the three of us. Appreciated selection of coffee, tea and snacks provided. Quiet surroundings and very relaxing. Chilly weather and the heat worked great. Only drawback was the inoperable fireplace, but that was not an issue for us. Plan to stay here again the next time we are in Wichita. »
